-to elicit Christmas symbols Procedure: - T writes some Christmas collocations on the blackboard . - T. asks the class if they can guess the connection . - T puts them into pairs and gives them one minute to see how many collocations they can find .The winners are the pair with the highest number of correct collocations. - Ss write collocations on cards and then they are asked to write them on the blackboard. - Timing 4ʼ Activity 2 Christmas symbols Aims : -to teach vocabulary related to Christmas -to develop speaking skills Procedure : T. writes a Christmas word web on the blackboard. - Ss complete the world web - T asks questions about the real meaning of Christmas , where was Jesus Christ born etc and other questions related to religious knowledge . - Ss answer the teacherʼs questions Interaction : T-Ss Timing : 5ʼ

Aims: -to check up the SS understanding of how other cultures celebrate Christmas - To assess Ssʼ reading comprehension Procedure: - T divides the class into four groups . T. tells Ss that will be a competition between groups . Every group will receive some comprehension questions from their presentations. The group with the most correct answers wins the competition. Ss work in groups and solve the quiz.
