1. INTRODUCTION

As we all know, badminton is a racket sport that is played by two or four players
on a rectangular court divided by a net. Players score points by striking a shuttlecock
with their racket so that it passes over the net and lands in their opponent's half of the
court. Badminton is a fast-paced and exciting sport that can be enjoyed by people of all
ages and skill levels. It is also a great way to exercise and improve your coordination
and agility.

The objective of this program is to learn the basics of the game and improve
skills in badminton. In order to do that, this program’s initiative is to enhance personal
skills, emotional and physical endurance which involves the participation of MSU
Badminton Club members.

Referring to the previous point, MSUBC Badminton Clinic focuses on enhancing

the participants' badminton skills in terms of communication, teamwork and management
skill which are important in the current era. Throughout the program, the participants
may identify specifically the skills in them that they can enhance to improve in order to
defeat the opponents. The participants will also have a broader view of the importance of
communication and teamwork skills as a badminton player; by participating in the
program.
Therefore, conducting a badminton clinic where it is open to badminton club
members will help to grow the relationship between students and the sports which can
help to sharpen their skills in badminton thus making them interested with the sports and
opening the opportunities for growing the club participants. This encourages them in
finding their passion for playing badminton as a sport.
Ultimately, the badminton club is determined that by conducting this program, we
will grow the club in a more positive way – increasing participants, growth of passion
towards badminton, improving badminton skills among the participants, and high
motivation to compete or participate in upcoming activities created by the club. The
badminton club hopes that this program will run smoothly and that it reaches the right
target of students that are passionate about playing badminton and wishes to improve in
playing badminton.

11. CONCLUSION

As a part of accomplishing the mission of Management and Science University,

this program strives towards transformative team players. We hope that we could
produce better players in the aspect of physical and mental in badminton sport.

Badminton clinics are an ideal way to learn the fundamentals of the sport and
advance one's skills. Badminton coaches with expertise lead clinics and can provide
the students' individualized training and feedback. In badminton, there is always
something new to learn, regardless of your skill level. Thus, one may improve
their athletic ability by attending a clinic about badminton.

Other than that, we believe it is crucial for students to participate in this program
as it strengthens and improves skills whilst introducing new experiences for the
participants. In the future, they are able to use the skills for more beneficial usage. To
add on, it is also a benefit for their health-wise. Badminton improves one’s well-being,
stamina, physique, and mental. As a result, they feel better when consistently
committing to weekly practices which may start from attending this first program.

In closing, socializing, connecting, and participating in this program will help one
to adapt to a new environment that will create opportunities for the potential of growing
the club with more new students, which is the main objective of this program.
