Prize Money Information : - All prize winners must be present at the prize presentation
ceremony.
- Except for an acceptable cause or with prior consent of the
Organizer, failing which their prize money may be forfeited.
- All prize money shall be by local bank transfer (overseas
remittance) to the bank accounts of foreign Athletes within a
reasonable time upon the end of the tournament. Any bank
charge and/or foreign exchange conversion losses will be
borne by the prize winner.
- All prize winners shall be responsible for the declaration and
payment of applicable taxes.

Men : All Athletes are expected to stay at the recommended


Hotel.

Junior : All Junior Athletes will receive Free Accommodation on a


Twin-Sharing basis, starting from a day prior to the start of the
tournament and until the following day after the Finals.
Guardians and/or Coaches are to bear their own
accommodation cost.

TOURNAMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS

INVITATION LETTER FOR VISA APPLICATION

Athletes who need invitation letter for Entry Visa application kindly contact the organizer with contact info at
the end of this information page.

ORGANIZERS AND SPONSORS PATCH

Athletes are required to put on the badges/patches/stickers if provided by Organizer during the tournament.

The Organizer reserves the right to refuse any badges/patches/stickers/logo of Athletes if they are found to
be distasteful or contradicts to the sponsors of POBSI.

ATHLETES REPORTING

All Athletes to report to the Chief Referee 30 minutes before match-time.


Each Athletes is given a 5 minutes warm-up time at the match table before starting.
Athletes to lag for Break 5 minutes before match-time.
Organizers, Tournament Director and/or Chief Referee reserves all rights to change or reschedule a match-
time as and when necessary.

RACK AND MATCH FORFEITS

No delay or postponement of matches will be allowed unless deemed necessary by the Organizers,
Tournament Director and/or Chief Referee.

An Athlete who is not present by his/her match-time will be given 5 minutes grace period. If the Athlete is not
present after the 5th minute, he/she will concede (1) rack to his opponent.

If the Athletes is still not present by the 10th minute, the match official will record a walkover and award the
match to the opponent. The clock at the tournament venue shall serve as the official tournament time.

TIME-OUT

Each Athlete will only be allowed one (1) time-out in between racks and for not more than (9) minutes. Should
the Athlete exceeded the time limit, then one (1) rack will be conceded to his/her opponent.

Athletes may request for toilet breaks which is solely by the discretion of the referee. The toilet break must
not be used for other purposes such as smoking or communicating with any person. Any Athletes found doing
so may be penalized.

GENERAL RULES

No smoking is permitted in the tournament venue except in designated smoking areas.

Athletes are not allowed to use their hand phones during matches and are require to switch their mobile
phones and/or electronic devices to silent.

Athletes must be at their best behavior whilst in the tournament venue and must not say or do anything that
may discredit the organizers, the sponsors, and/or bring disrepute to the sport.

MATCH DISPUTES

All match enquires or disputes will be referred to the Referee in the first instance. If an Athletes requires
further resolution, he may approach the Chief Referee during the tournament and his/their decision will be
final.

At any point of time, only the Athletes can raise any enquiries.

Any Athletes aggrieved by any action(s) and/or decision(s) made by the Referee and/or Chief Referee, he
may lodge an official protest in writing to the Tournament Director within 24 hours of the incident and must
be accompanied by a payment of USD$ 200 Protest Fee, payable to the Organizer. The USD$ 200 Protest
Fee will only be refund if the Tournament Director deems the protest to be valid.

All protest and disciplinary matters shall be referred to the Tournament Director, who will then be in
consultation with the Organizer, will decide on the matter. His decision shall be final and binding.

TOURNAMENT AUTHORITY

The Organizers, Tournament Director and/or Chief Referee may refuse entry or disqualify an Athlete for
refusing to adhere to the tournament instructions given by the Organizers, Tournament Director, and/or Chief
Referee.
The Organizer reserves the right to amend or add-in, whenever necessary, additional rules to the existing
one without prior notification to the Athletes.

Any matters not covered by the above set of rules and regulations shall be decided upon by the Tournament
Director in consultation with the Organizer whose decision in such matter shall be final and binding.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Organizer reserves the full right to reject, cancel and refund any applications. Any remittance charges
required for the payment and refund of entry fees and prize monies will be borne completely by the applicant.

Prize winners are responsible for any tax declaration/payments and withholding taxes if applicable.
Participants of the tournament understand and agreed that the final decision in the acceptance of entry to
the tournament lies solely with the POBSI, and will not hold POBSI (including its directors, members, servants
or agents) liable for any loss, damage, and/or other expenses incurred as a result of any rejections and
cancellations of applications; changes, delays and/or postponement/cancellation of the tournament. In the
event of cancellation of the tournament, all entry fees paid will be refunded without interest, less any
bank/remittance charges.

Participants accept and confirm that they will comply with all safe distancing measures and/or requirements
under prevailing law in Indonesia and abide by the 2021 World Anti-Doping Code as may be revised from
time to time by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

All Participants agreed to grant POBSI or its directors, servants or agents the irrevocable and unrestricted
