Ph.D. & M.Tech Project Title: Design of completion fluid for HPHT reservoirs. (Pan ONGC India and IIT Madras
project) (2017-2023)
Development design and analysis of novel completion fluid has done for HPHT reservoirs.
Industrial significance relevance to ONGC for HPHT fields such as KG basin.
I have had the opportunity to work in collaboration with ONGC, India on a funded project.
To investigate the effect of high temperature (25 °C to 300 °C) and high pressure (14.7 psi to 30, 000 psi) on
the rheology and to study the effectiveness of the rheological model in optimizing the rheology.
Effect of aging (BHR and AHR) on the rheological behaviour under prolonged exposure time and high
temperature for thermal stability on completion fluid.
A comparative study on overcoming the rheological performance and density limitations of existing
completion fluid in oil and gas reservoirs.
Study on the feasibility of suitable additives nanoparticles (zirconium di oxide, ferric oxide, aluminum oxide,
cerium oxide, manganese tetra oxide) in thermal stability and high density for optimization of rheology of
completion fluid configuration at HPHT.
