How to Use a TV as a Second Screen

Starting Out:
Materials Needed:
 TV
 HDMI cord
 Computer/projector

Step by Step Instructions:

1. Plug the HDMI cord into the back TV port under where it says HDMI

2. Plug the other end of the HDMI into the port on the side of the computer
Note: computer will not have the HDMI labeled
3. Once you have both sides plugged in, press and hold the Windows key,
then press the P key on your keyboard
4. A screen will titled “Project” will pop up in the lower right corner of your
computer

5. Select whatever you want it to show on your TV

6. Make sure your TV source is on the right HDMI source
Note: There should be a number on the back your HDMI, correspond that to the TV source
