1) Capstone Project Summary:

In the box below, please type out a 200 – 300-word summary highlighting the key points and
information that you plan to present during your Capstone Project presentation.

! am planning to turn broken skateboards into a table top. I will do this by cutting off the nose and tail, cutting of the truck bolts and wheel well
section and cutting the middle section into 1inch thick and 10 inch long pieces. I will glue a bunch of strips together with epoxy creating a
colorful pattern from skateboards and then cut to a 10 by 10 square. I am going to make the edges for the table top, aprons for the table
sides, legs and a drawer out of pallets. I am also designing a way for the drawer to slide out on skate board wheels. I will need to turn non
square materials into usable square pieces of lumber I can do this with a miter saw, jointer, planer and a table saw. Although I do not
have most these tools I can find a way around it I do own a table saw and that’s a pretty versatile tool. I can make jigs and use push sticks to get
the best cut’s possible for my work. I plan to present it with pictures and videos of my process.
