This installation manual is solely applicable to the MAST Pulse steam sterilizer.
Use Instructions:
The installation manual is kept completed during the service life of the equipment.
When the device usage area or usage unit is changed, it is necessary to guarantee that
the operating instruction as a part of the whole device is transferred or handed over.
In the installation manual, using the following signs indicates the operational contents requiring
the attention or great importance.
Before any operation, maintenance and care of the device, please carefully read and fully
understand the contents of each chapter in the operating instruction, especially the contents
with the above- mentioned marks requiring the attention.
The installation instruction manual must be kept carefully so as to prevent the loss or damage,
and even the slight damage should also be avoided.
Anyone can not tear down any content from the operating instruction or take it out of
the operating instruction in any case. If it does not conform to the instructions in the
operating instruction or it is not involved in the operating instruction, please timely
contact the manufacturer for upgrade or update.
The manual should be kept at the ventilating and drying place away from the humidity and high
temperature.

This equipment is not suitable for sterilization of bottled liquid in a hermetically sealed.
If sterilizing the liquid above, please contact Shinva, we will select a special sterilizer
for you.
Using this equipment to sterilize the liquid tightly sealed in bottle, it is easy to cause
bottle burst accident because of negligence or violation of operation rules by
operation personnel, seriously endanger the safety of people and equipment
The chloride ion is an important factor causing the corrosion damage on stainless
steel. If using this equipment to sterilize the items containing chloride ions must, must
rinse sterilizing chamber wall every day, to avoid corrosion of chlorine ion deposition
on stainless steel, prolong the service life of the equipment
If seen the sign in any location of the equipment, it means the higher
temperature around, please pay attention to avoid the scald

The correct installation of sterilization equipment will play an important role on its
normal performance, must not be ignored.
A. Unloading equipment
After the arrival of the equipment in the customer site, user should pay attention to in the
process of lifting:
·Adjustment focus of lifting appliances, identify the gravity, in order to make the equipment
hoisting in horizontal.
·During lifting, should pay attention to protect the external packing plate.
·After equipment is unpacked, firstly check the product nameplate on the type, name and order
whether they are consistent (the product nameplate is on the side of the equipment)
·According to equipment packing list carefully check the equipment whether its components are
intact, whether damaged or loss, if have, should be recorded carefully and contact Shinva
promptly.
·Carefully check each connection or a fixed part whether they are loosened or not because of
long-distance transport, if there is, fasten it.
·Check and record the accessories taken with the equipment. Please refer to the equipment
packing list.

C. Equipment installation
Before installation of the equipment, if need,user can provide the equipment model to our
company, to ask for the installation diagram. During the installation process, should be done by
professional personnel under their guidance.
In-standard installation will pose a danger to human life and property, and to prevent
equipment normal, reliable running.
Shinva is not responsible for all the risks that may occur due to in-standard
installation.
Foundation: In case of installing above the ground, the surface should be solid and smooth. In
case of installing above the second floor, the user should consider whether needing reinforcing
the floor as the case may be.
Ventilation and Heat Dissipation: In order to guarantee the normal running of the device and the
comfortable working environment better, it is recommended to install a set of appropriate
ventilating system in the working room, so as to control the surrounding ambient temperature
and humidity of the sterilizer. The specific requirements are as follows.
Drainage: Should choose the drainage at least larger than sterilizer configuration drainage orifice
size specifications of a pipe, the drainage tube alone leads to discharged outside the trench, not
with the building drainage pipeline communicated with others (such as cleaning, floor drain),
part of gas will affect or equipment in the working process in the discharge to the other room.
The drainage line should be installed along the outlet of the device from high to low,
without the back pressure; otherwise it will influence the sterilization or drying effects
due to the drainage difficulty of the condensed water.
When multiple devices share a main drainage pipe, the flow of the main drainage pipe
should be more than the sum of the drainage pipe flow as required by each device.

When the equipment only generates the steam by its built-in steam generator, there is no need
of steam source.
The sterilizer takes the steam of the fixed pressure as the sterilizing medium, thus the steam
quality and pressure determine the good or bad effect of the sterilizing effect. The solid particles
and condensed water carried during the steam delivery process should be removed. The steam
source pressure of 0.30 ~ 0.50 MPa should be ensured. The excessively low pressure can not
guarantee the smooth operation of the sterilization program. The excessively high pressure shall
easily turn into the superheated steam, which influences the sterilizing effect.
If the steam source pressure is excessively high (> 0.5 MPa), it is necessary to add the reducing
valve in the delivery line, and guarantee that the steam source pressure fluctuation is not more
than 10%.
The quality index of the steam condensates should meet the requirements in the following table
(this table is from GB 8599-2008, and the contents should be subject to the latest requirements
of this standard).

The industrial steam source line is one inch internal thread connection (In case of the
inconformity with the device installation drawing, it should be subject to the device installation
drawing). If the sterilizing device is relatively far away from the boiler, the diameter of the steam
delivery pipe should be increased, and the resistance of the pipe should be reduced. If several
sterilizers use the same steam source line at the same time, the size of the pipe diameter should

be further considered.
When the equipment has dual inlet steam, its pure steam pipeline is connected by a 1 inch
connector.
In order to ensure the normal running of the device, the steam delivery pipeline should adopt the
thermal insulation measures. To observe the supply situation of the steam in due time, it is
necessary to install the steam source valve and a pressure gauge with the range of 0~1 MPa in
the steam source pipeline of the interlayer or inner chamber, so as to be convenient for the
observation and control.
Water Source:
Equipment water usage is divided into two parts, one is for water circulated vacuum pump and
the condenser, another part is supply water to the built-in steam generator, and its connector
dimension is 1/2 inch thread, pressure requirements is: 0.15 ~ 0.3MPa,its flow demands please
see the installation diagram of equipment. During the installation should install valve and a
pressure gauge with range of 0 ~ 0.6MPa on the water inlet pipeline, see attached figure 1. (Note:
if the water pressure is higher than 0.4MPa, it should increase range of the pressure gauge to
ensure its value locates on the 2/3 of full scale while working)
If the water source pressure is lower than 0.1 MPa, the vacuum program cannot start.
Water supplying the steam generator of electric heating sterilizer must be softened
water; otherwise it will affect the life of heating elements and the quality steam.
In order not to affect the work performance of vacuum pump and the condenser, it is
recommended not to use water with too much hardness.
The water supply quality for the equipment built-in steam generator should meet the
requirement in the table below (this table is from GB 8599-2008, and the contents should be
subject to the latest requirements of this standard)

A low and mid-grade air compressor will produce some noise during the
working process, and therefore it should be installed outdoors or in a
separated room to the greatest extent. If use oil air compressor, must
periodically clean/replace the filter (at least once per three month), other
wise it will affect the normal work of the valve.
Power Source:
It is required that the power switch box is had better installed on the wall in the right
side or back side of the sterilizer. In the switch box it must be equipped with a three- phase
load switch or a breaker and a single phase load switch, detailed parameter please see the

installation diagram of the equipment in attached figure 1. In order to ensure the personal
safety and the device safety; an earth wire must be laid. The part with ground-connection
marks on the equipment must be reliably connected with the earth wire. The laid pipeline
and circuit should be level horizontally and straight vertically, as well as fixed effectively.
Equipment has a built-in steam generator, the power line must be connect to the
ground reliably.
·Avoid installing in environment with heavy dust, oil mist containing conductive particles,
corrosive gas, and combustible gas.
·Avoid installing in places at high temperature and high humidity or easily wet by rain.
·Move the equipment to the selected location. In the process of moving, take care not to
damage or scratch the decorative cover. If meeting special circumstances, should record and
mark well, remove the pipeline and the cover, the equipment is in placed, resumed them as they
were. Remove the packing bag, take out document taken with machine, and save it well.
3. Adjustment Level
Put the equipment in the horizontal ground. In case of any uneven one, use thin iron sheet can
be to pad for an appropriate adjustment.
·Connecting water: in accordance with the attached figure 1, connect the softened water or tap
water respectively to the sterilizer steam generator water entrance and filter of vacuum pump
water inlet. Pipe can be connected by welding or screw thread, after connection make the water
test, the connection places must have a drop of water or leakage.

According to the specific location for equipment and installation requirements, connect the
water, electricity and compressed air with the corresponding position of the sterilizer. Power
control box is connected to the 220V single-phase power supply, vacuum pump starter to 380V
three-phase power supply.
D. Equipment debugging
Before the equipment leaves the factory, in accordance with the relevant standards part of the
program has been set in advance. In the debugging process, user can modify the program
parameters according to the requirement of use. The specific parameter settings please read the
fifth chapter "Use and Operation".
·Before debugging, should firstly check whether the electrical part of wiring, socket is off, loose,
if there is fasten it; whether water in, drainage, and compressed air is properly connected,
otherwise adjust it and fasten it.
• Open water inlet valve and the air compressor. Observe whether the pressure indicating meets
the requirements, if meeting the requirements do following steps for debugging.
Turn on the power switch, the touch screen enters into the manual operation, press F5, ZB
button, and then touch "manual / automatic" switch, switch it to "manual" state, now the
vacuum pump starts. Observe whether the vacuum pump motor fan rotation direction is
consistent with the direction of the arrow marked on the pump body, otherwise change the
connection of any two load line in the three-phase load switch.
Note: while doing this, if there are two people cooperate with each other, it will reduce the
inversion time of vacuum pump.
·In manual operation, one by one to open each pneumatic valve, watch whether the red each
pneumatic valve display head is out or not.
• Open each electromagnetic valve, use a screwdriver near the top of electromagnetic valve
gently, should feel a strong magnetic attraction.
3) Empty-load test

·Before running the program, should make pressure keeping test in accordance with the
instructions in the fifth chapter "Use and Operate”. If the test failed, it means the pipeline
connecting to chamber has leakage. At this time carefully check, eliminate the leakage, to test
again till to qualified, otherwise it will affect the sterilization effect of equipment.
·Parameters: please preset the parameters refer to work parameter in the fifth chapter "Use and
Operation ".
·After the parameter is set, the normal operation of fabric, instruments, BD test program can be
run, the detailed procedure please read the fifth chapter "Use and Operation". In the course of
the program running, should check the tightness of pipe, if pipe leakage point is found, timely
eliminate it.
4) Load test
The above programs are run in the condition of empty-load, after empty-load test must carry out
the load test. In the load test, loading quantity of the non liquid sterilization item such as
instrument and fabric shall not exceed 80% of the volume of the chamber, and should be placed
on the shelf, each dressing package a should be maintained with a gap of 10mm. Load test must
make a sterilization effect t detection on the package inner central point. According to the
introduced in ninth chapter do the B-D test procedure, chemical test, biological test, and observe
whether the test effect compliances with the requirements.
