I believe that I did see an improvement through your editing and comments on my assignments.

I have
never been the best writer, if not, in my opinion, a good writer at all. I think that your comments and
explanation of those comments helped me learn That I was doing better than I thought, as well as the
key critical things that I would miss in each assignment or not to level two. In my opinion, the best
improvement I could see was within my performance and assignments, and with the revisions, I could
see and learn from the mistakes I made. My goal for this course was to get a decent to good grade. I’ve
never been the most significant English fan, so taking the class, I knew it would not be easy. I met my
goal because I did well on all the assignments, except for a few projects where I missed a few crucial
things and didn’t do as well as I should’ve. With that being said, though, I did learn a lot in my grammar,
specifically with block style and not doing so many run-on sentences because I know I do that a lot and
shorten up my wording and my sentences in a very professional manner to keep the information short
and sweet. I don’t believe the course needs to be revived. I think that listening to the instructions and
looking at the textbook and the PowerPoint is such a beneficial tool that I didn’t always do that I wish I
would’ve because you have them at your fingertips, so why try and assume or do things on your own
when you as a student has all the information there for you. With that being said, I think students who
take this class in the future should take their time with these assignments and not rush or cram them
into their schedule since there is a lot to learn from every one of them.
I would say the most important assignment was the enhancement project. The enhancement project
was something I’d never done with an alternate reality. Learning that side of alternate reality, which took
me out of my comfort zone, helped me to improve the fact that I couldn’t just rely on the facts; I had to
induce creativity and think about what I wanted to do. If I could edit any assignment in this course, I
believe it would be the white paper. The white paper, to me, was an assignment. I thought I did pretty
well even though I definitely could’ve done better, and I do believe that if I had another chance to do it
again with her without the revisions, I could’ve produced a way better paper than the one I submitted. If
I could add any assignment, I would add more of the work correspondence emails and memos because I
know how important those are, as well as everyday work once we get out of college. Even though we did
one assignment, I think having more of that in a professional communications class could be more
beneficial than most other writing assignments.
