be enough)

Calculation of expenses for Faculty

Faculty Expenses Level 4 and 5

Credits – 240 (two years) per programme

120 per year per programme
TQT 1200 hours per programme
GLH 600 hours per programme
Workload Teacher per year – 1200 hours
Faculty required - ½ per programme

So total GLH for 3 programmes – 1800 hours per year

Assuming all by GF at rate of Rs 1000 per hour – Rs 1800000(Rs 18 lakhs)
This should be the limit of expenses on in-house faculty and GF.

(According to the UGC norms, the workload of teachers in full employment

should not be less than forty hours a week for thirty working weeks in an
academic year,)

Staff Expenses

1. Director – 12 lakhs pa
2. Accountant – 3.6 lakhs pa
3. Admin Executive r – 3.6 lakhs pa
4. System Administrator – 3 lakhs pa
5. Technician – 1.8 lakhs pa
6. Total – 24 lakhs

Total Staff + Faculty – 42 lakhs. Say 50 lakhs.
