What is Traditional Marketing?

Traditional marketing refers to the use of conventional platforms such as print (Newspapers or
Magazines) and broadcast media, Face to face meetings, cold calling or phone, direct mail, and
outdoor advertising like billboards, etc. For instance, when a person is watching a football match at
the stadium, they find the advertisement for various products on billboards. On the other hand, the
person watching the game on television finds the advertisement comes in the break.

What is Digital Marketing?

Digital marketing can be described as actively promoting products and services using digital
distribution channels such as websites, and different social media platforms like Facebook, Youtube,
Linkedin, and Pinterest. In fact, this extends to non-internet channels that provide digital media, such
as mobile phones (SMS and MMS). For example, Noon AD Holdings located in the United Arab
Emirates and Saudi Arabia provides E-commerce products and services. It offers electronics, apparel,
home, kitchen, and personal care products.
