A FEASIBILITY STUDY ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF GENERAL LICERIO TOPACIO

NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AT BRGY. PASONG BUAYA II, IMUS CITY, CAVITE

I. RATIONALE

The establishment of National High School in the Pasong Buaya II, Imus City,Cavite
is a timely response to the economic instability of parents from sending their children
to school and to support the goal of education to attain Education for All and make
education accessible to all. The school wanted to improve the participation rate and
lessen the drop-out rate that may attribute to financial constraints specifically in the
high school level.

The school, together with the parents and the stakeholders of the barangay assuring
of affordable and quality education by maintaining a child friendly school considering
most is the safety of our learners inside the school.

II. OBJECTIVES

The establishment of GENERAL LICERIO TOPACIO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL at

Barangay Pasong Buaya II, Imus City, Cavite aims to achieve the following:

1. Give accessibility to graduates of Buhay na Tubig, Maharlika, Pasong Buaya I and

Pasong Buaya II Elementary Schools.
2. Lessen the expenditures of low-income families who are sending their children to
High School in far High Schools; and
3. Give chances to less fortunate elementary graduates to pursue junior/senior high
school.

 C. PROSPECTIVE LEARNERS

Based on the record of the early registration made last January 2023 there are
six hundred (600) incoming Grade Seven learners who were interested to enroll
in the school this coming School Year 2023 – 2024. Hoping to increase our
enrollees once the school was established.

D. SCHOOL SITE

General Licerio Topacio National High School is situated at Brgy. Pasong Buaya
II, Imus City and there is no other public high schools available in the City of
Imus. The school has a total land area of ten thousand square meters (10, 000
sq m).

IV. RECOMMENDATIONS

With the request of our parents and generous support of the Barangay Officials,
Local Government Unit, we as steward of the school and with the proper guidance of
our district supervisor and division officials, we humbly recommend to establish
GENERAL LICERIO TOPACIO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL to be able help our
students to have an access to free basic education with their reach alp parents
specially those who cannot afford to send their children to school just for a financial
problem.
