Re: Demand to pay
Dear Ms. Milucha and Mr. Dela Cruz:
We write to you in behalf of our client, Ms. Rechelle Revillosa
regarding your unlawful defraudation. It appears that upon your promise of employment in Australia, you caused and convinced Ms. Revillosa to part with the total amount of PESOS: TWO HUNDRED THIRTY THOUSAND (P230,000.00) in five (5) separate occasions. However, said overseas employment never came and Ms. Revillosa was left with nothing but empty promises from your end. Needless to say, you duped and tricked her into parting with her hard-earned money by making her believe that you can give her employment in Australia, to her great consternation, damage and prejudice.
In view thereof, a stern demand is hereby made upon you to return
the total amount of PESOS: TWO HUNDRED THIRTY THOUSAND (P230,000.00) within five (5) days from receipt hereof. Should you fail to heed this demand, we will be constrained to advise our clients to initiate the appropriate criminal actions, such as but not limited to Estafa and illegal recruitment in violation of R.A. 8042, otherwise known as the “Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act of 1995”, in order to enforce her clear and demandable rights and to protect her interests, including the satisfaction of all accrued interests, damages and attorney’s fees.
