I was raised in a family of five. I was blessed with two elder siblings who are well settled with their
current employment in Sri Lanka. My parents are professionals and currently I am residing with my father
at 101, Hajiyar Road, Nintavur - 18. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances my mother passed
away. My father is currently in his 60s.

Driven by my passion for engineering, I enrolled in the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mechanical

of my degree in 2017.
During my final year of study, I undertook a remarkable project that remains a point of pride for me. I
developed a mobile robotic platform designed for industrial automation. This innovative device was
programmed to navigate along predefined paths and overcome obstacles encountered along the way. The
navigation and control of the platform were achieved through a wireless device, adding an element of
convenience and flexibility to its operation. Witnessing the successful implementation of this project into

During the early stages of my undergraduate studies, I had the privilege of gaining valuable training
experiences that complemented my academic journey. In June 2015, I embarked on a three-month
training program with Ceylon Government Railway in Sri Lanka. This opportunity provided me with
firsthand exposure to the working mechanisms of workshop machines and allowed me to actively
participate in the maintenance of locomotive engine parts, further enhancing my practical skills.
Building upon this foundation, in August 2016, I was accepted into a training program at Airport &
Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited. This experience proved invaluable as I delved into the intricate
workings of conveyor systems and acquired knowledge of the maintenance practices involved. Through
this training, I gained significant experience in understanding and managing mechanical systems,
augmenting my expertise in the field.
Upon the completion of my training experiences and successful completion of my undergraduate degree, I
embarked on a new professional endeavor. From April 2018 to February 2019, I had the privilege of
working as a trainee engineer at Abans Electricals PLZ (Service Department). During this period, a
significant portion of my responsibilities revolved around testing new appliances and diligently preparing
defect analysis reports. This role not only honed my practical skills but also developed my analytical
capabilities, enabling me to contribute effectively to quality control processes.
Continuing my professional growth, in May 2019, I was appointed as a Mechanical Engineer for the
ANWS Project at the National Water Supply & Drainage Board in Sri Lanka. This position allowed me to

engineering challenges. Working on this project further solidified my passion for mechanical engineering
