SCHOOL TRAINING WORKSHOP ON CONTIGENCY PLAN DEVELOPMENT

To: All Teachers

All others Concerned

1. Contingency Planning is a crucial aspect of risk management and organizational preparedness. It involves the
development of strategies, processes, and procedures to address unexpected events or crises that could disrupt normal
operations. The rationale for contingency planning can be summarized into Risk Mitigation and Human Safety. To
realize its importance, this office shall conduct a SchoolTraining Workship on Contingency Plan Development on
December 13, 2023, at Norzagaray Elemenetary School.

2. The training workshop aims to:

a. Enhance and update existing School DRRM Contingency Plan.
b. Capacitate school personnel in the development/enhancement of school contingency plan.
c. Preapare school project proposal for the downloaded fund to be given among schools for the write-shop of
their contingency plan.

3. Participants to this training workshop are the School DRRM Cooordinator, BDRRM Focal Person, and selected
teachers involve in contingency planning. They are expected to bring laptop and copy of the existing school
contingency plan, and other relevant materials.

4. This Memorandum serves as travel authority of all participants.

5. Attached for your reference are the following:

b. Enclosure No. 2 List of participants

6. Expences to be incurred in the conduct of this activity shall be charged against the DRRM downloaded funds
subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

7. Likewise, participants are expected to adhere strictly to health protocols to further prevents any infectious
Diseases.

8. Immediate and widest dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
