JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AS WELDING INSPECTOR:


 Inspection of field activity like fit up, visual, dimensional, co-ordinationand qualifying WPS, PQR, WQT for the entire
project.
 Coordination of quality assurance plan and inspection test plan. Maintaining of quality records such as fit up, welding &
NDT reports.
 Closely monitoring the welder individual performance. Strictly implementing the WPS & PQR instructions and
maintaining parameters
 Reports. Monitoring and controlling the repair percentage of eachwelder.
 Stage wise inspection before, during and after fabrication.
 Visual inspection of fabrication and site welds.
 Coordinating with clients / consultants while the inspection is beingcarried out and offer any clarifications as required.
 Witnessing of activities like PQR, welder's qualification Tests.
 Reviewing the applicable instruments for inspection with validcalibration certificates.
 Confirm repairs, re-testing and re-inspection in accordancewith specifications.
 Witnessing of Weld repair activities as per client approved WPS.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AS MECHANICAL STRUCTURAL INSPECTOR:


 Receiving inspection of Raw materials & Prefabricated materials as per
Drawing
 Inspection of Pad elevation & Anchor Bolt projection on Support

 Inspection of the dimension of the connections and the welded plates
before Erection to avoid the time delay for the rework.
 Perform Surveillance during fabrication and erection to compliancewith
Procedures.
 Inspection of the plumbness, verticality and after the installation of
Structures on foundation.
 Witnessing of Bolt tightening at different stages. (SNUG & Final Torque).
 Inspection of Grouting as per the client’s specifications and standards.
 Walk through, Punch List & Final Inspection.
 Final Inspection of Handrails, Ladders, Staircase, Platforms, Local Supports,and
Gratings.

SHUTDOWN ACTIVITIES:
Pressure Vessels and Tower/ Column Inspection:
Visual Inspection.
 Insulation Box opening for CUI and UTG Fastener Check.
 Gasket Seating Surface Inspection. Column TRAY Inspection.
 Internal Inspection: Pitting, Erosion, Vortex Breaker, Baffle Plate, DemisterPad and nozzles (Inlet and Outlet).
 External Inspection: Skirt, Top & Bottom Dish End, Concrete Sprout.
 Weld Inspection: DPT on All T-Joints, SWUT Inspection on (CS & LS), MPT For Surfacedefect.
 Repair Activities: Major Recommendation like patch plate welding, RF pad replacement.
 Hydro test as per Procedure.

 Preliminary Inspection: Shell insulation, GA Drawing Study, P & I Drawing study, Insulation Box opening for UTG.
