The CCI-Bailey Connection
More than 50 years ago, Bailey Meter Company, later to become Bailey
Controls Company, began manufacturing a line of dependable workhorse
valves. So popular were these valves that thousands were installed
throughout the world.
In 1979, CCI acquired the Bailey line of control valves as the Original
Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in all respects— inclusive of design and
technology. Although many valves in service today carry the “BMC” body
marking, the product is now identified by the CCI-Bailey name.

As the OEM supplier for CCI-Bailey Al, D10, D-10/B-33 and E-40 valves,

CCI-BAILEY A1
The CCI-Bailey Al valve is commonly used
for pump recirculation and superheater
water control. It is available in 1" to 3" sizes
in ANSI 1500 to 2500 pressure classes. This
diaphragm-actuated valve features an
erosion-resistant chrome moly body with
300 series stainless steel and stellited trim.
The Al’s single-seated, top-guided trim has
a linear flow characteristic. Leakage ratings
from Class II Class V are available by
specific request. This valve may be
characterized by nose configuration.
CCI-BAILEY D-10
The CCI-Bailey D-10 control valve is most
commonly found in power boiler feedwater
control or steam pressure-reducing
applications. Ills available in 1" to 14" sizes
in ANSI 300 to 2500 pressure classes. The
D-10 globe body valve features a double-
seated, robust cage-type trim with massive
guiding for long service life. WCB, WC6, or
CS materials are available to tailor this
valve to specific service conditions.
Depending on the requirements of the
application, the D-10 is equipped with
either a diaphragm or piston-type actuator.
CCI-BAILEY D-10/B-33
The CCI-Bailey thermo-hydraulic, or D-10/
B-33, valve is a recognized industry
standard for boiler feedwater regulator
applications. It is available as a globe valve
with special thermo-hydraulic actuation.
Sizes range from 1" to 3" in ANSI 250 to
600 pressure classes. The carbon steel body
encloses either a single or a double-seated,
cage-guided trimset. Stainless steel trim,
designed to high tolerance, is used to extend
the wear life of critical components and the
metal sealing surfaces of the plug and cage.
CCI-BAILEY E-40
The CCI-Bailey E-40 control valve with
VBJ piston actuator is often applied to drum
filling and boiler start-up services. This
extremely rugged valve is angle-configured
in sizes 2" to 14", ANSI 2500 to 4500
pressure classes, with single-seated trim.
The E-40 is available in your choice of
WCB, WC6 or C5 materials.

sell CCI-Bailey parts. These fraudulent outfits use
unauthorized duplicates or reverse-engineered
sketches, and are unable to guarantee that the parts
produced will be right for YOUR VALVE. Protect
yourself. Demand to see documentation to support any
purported license agreement.
Remember, bogus parts put your critical applica-
tion at risk. Machine shops offering seemingly “good
deals” on replacement parts often build to loose
specifications, using improper materials, heat treat-
ments or manufacturing techniques. High quality is
what has kept CCI-Bailey valves on the job for so
long. Continuing to properly service them with
genuine parts will keep them performing for years to

VBJ piston actuator. We’ll send you a rebuilt unit and
take your old one in trade. Best of all, the rebuilt
actuator is in your hands before you start your
teardown.
