ACTIVITY 1: WARM-UP (5’- GW/PW/IW)
1. Aim: To activate students’ prior knowledge and vocabulary related to the topic, the targeted
vocabulary and its pronunciation
2. Content: Choose correct words and pictures on the board
3. Products: Students choose correct words and pictures on the board.( team work)

I. OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the lesson, students will be better able to:
- use countable nouns and uncountable nouns;
- use quantifiers some, many, much, a few, a little with countable nouns and countable
nouns;
- use “must” and “mustn’t” to make classroom rules.
1. Knowledge:
a. Vocabulary: lexical items related to the lesson.
b. Pronunciation: the sounds /t/ and /d/.
c. Grammar: Countable & uncountable nouns; Modal verbs: must and musn’t
2. Competences:
a. General competencies:
- groupwork and independent working, pair work, linguistic competence, cooperative
learning and communicative competence
b. Specific competencies:
- By the end of the lesson students will know how to use countable nouns and uncountable
nouns; use quantifiers some, many, much, a few, a little and use “must” and “mustn’t” .
