Before Christmas, we are given the time

to prepare for celebrating the coming of

Jesus through his birth. And this time is
what we call the “Advent Season”

Sundays (not weeks) preparing for
the celebration of Jesus’ birth.

● The first Sunday of Advent also marks the
beginning of the Christian Church's year.
● Because the celebration is such an
important event, Christians want to make
themselves completely ready.

Praying and being sorry for our

sins

Help
those
who are
in need.
Attending Mass
This is just one of the seasons that reminds us
of God’s love. As baptized Christians who
accepted and welcomed Christ in our lives, we
are also called to share in His divine life.
