lùn yǔ yì zé

论 语一则
子曰：吾十五而有志于学，三十而立，四十而不惑，五十而知天命，六十而耳顺，七
十而从心随欲，不逾矩。——《论语·为政》

孔子说：我十五岁，有志于学问；三十岁，说话做事都有把握；四十岁，不致迷惑；
五十岁，得知天命；六十岁，一听别人言语，便可以分别真假，判明是非；到了七十
岁，便随心所欲，任何念头都不会越出规矩。

可以 分 别 真 假 ； 到 了七 十 岁 ， 随 心 所 欲， 任 何 念 头 都 不 会 违 反 规 矩 。

Confucius said, “At fifteen, I set my heart upon learning. At thirty,

I had planted my feet firmly upon the ground. At forty, I no longer
suffered from the perplexities. At fifty, I knew what the biddings
of Heaven were. At sixty, I heard them with a docile ear. At
seventy, I could follow the dictates of my own heart; for what I
desired no longer overstepped the boundaries of what is right.”

Seventy Years old , Follow one’s inclinations ,
At seventy, I could follow the dictates of my own heart;
rènhé niàntóu dōu búhuì wéifǎn guījǔ
任 何 念 头 都 不会 违 反 规矩 。
