The Chamalongo

Prologue

Dear Reader: You hold in your hands a treasure treasured by all those who
practice the religion of the palo mayombe.

In this presentation of the chamalongo you will learn how to master the
chamalongo oracle to perfection in all its splendor. This book is designed for the
layman as well.
As the one who professes the rule of palo monte, but only the Tata (major of palo
rule) will be able to perform it. will be able to execute it. This means that those
who are not initiated can no longer learn it. This does not contain any Congo
secret.

GENERAL RECOMENDATIONS

All these charts and explanations are only the pattern to follow for beginners. In
this difficult task of the chamalongo oracle, for the total success on this oracle, it
is necessary to take into account the following oracle, it is necessary to take into
account some parameters and rules that must be followed in order to achieve
success.

1- When it is to be used for a consultation with another person, the one who is
executing the consultation must be consecrated Tata in any of its existing
branches of palo.
2- If you are consecrated as a new pine tree, you can only use it up to the
phase of simple rolls (this does not mean that you cannot continue to study
and practice it until you receive your consecration).
3- In a consultation, three shots are taken by the person being looked at
although you can execute it according to your form.

As I was saying these are the patterns to follow on the Chamalongo, it does not
mean that the rolls have to come out exactly as they are here. They are possible
positions that the snail can fall. Therefore you have to be very attentive to what
falls on the signature mat and look for the resemblance to the patterns that I am
giving you.

Something very important that you should not forget is that the palo de monte
ruler works a lot with the nfumbe (spirit) which means that if at any moment of a
consultation or practice the nfumbe of your Nganga or another entity at that
moment is putting something that is outside of what you have learned from the
oracle, you can say so.
It is very normal that this happens that the nfumbe adds through the oracle since
in reality we are interpreting what the nfumbe transmits to us.

PRAYERS FOR THE START OF THE CONSULTATION

Now we are going to see the form of prayers to initiate a consultation with the
Chamalongo.
First of all we pay tribute to our ancestors by asking for the blessing of SAMBIA in
front.

I will show you an example by doing it under the name and branch X

It is said:

The blessing of Sambia.

Major remembers Ta José de las Lomas, Major remembers Francisco 7 Rays,
Major remembers Gumercindo Conde, etc., and so on, and so on, mentioning all
the ancestors of your branch and all the spirits that have to do with you, whether
relatives or spirits of the foundation, saying finally at the end Major remembers
To los Tata that is in Fuiri.

Now let us proceed to ask for the license of the foundation and the Nganga’s..

It is said:

The blessing of Sambia, the blessing of Lucero Mundo, the blessing of 7 rays, the
blessing of Madre agua, the blessing of Sarabanda, and so on.
and so on, mentioning all the entities that are known either of their branch or in
general. After this, nsala malekun is said and those present answer malekun
nsala and if there is no one, you answer yourself.
Then we identify ourselves as the paleros I will give an example of how it would
be, it does not mean that it has to be exactly like that because the example I give
you is from my own branch.

It is said:

Here is your son yo muni tata o yaya (your palo name) majuekala mkunio
mabungo ntu Nganga que guisa kinamina kielo sin nguanguia que nsambi dabula
si bakula arrinba en toto. mi nfumo son mi confianza y mi npague son de nchila
anene sukula briyumba congo sarabanda malongo rompe monte guindavela 7

mi abuelo kimbiyaya (Grand Parents name) y mi great-grandfather briyumbero
congo cónsul y lucero en munanzo guidavela.

Quira ni va cuenda munanzo congo Dice va Tata buta, Tumbe iron Ngando
briyumba congo Zarabanda, malongo ,Rompe monte,Guinda Vela

it is said nsala malekun.

Well, this that we have just seen has to change according to the tradition or the
way you have to moyubar to your nganga’s or entities is only a pattern, to guide
you what to do. you have to change what is for yours.

Next what should be said to proceed to throw the Chamalongo this if you must
learn it well because it is primordial

It is said:

Here is his son (the name of the person being consulted is mentioned) who comes
from the foot of Chamalongo to find out neither good or bad nor bad for good
there will be viti nbioco vitic menzo above ncombo of his son (the name of the
person being consulted is mentioned) who will find out vilongo at the foot of
Chamalongo.
The Chamalongo is presented on the forehead, chest and feet of the person who
is consulted and on the board, it is placed in cross with the chamalongo in the
right hand.

It is said:

In the name of Sambia arriba, Sambia abajo, sambia por los cuatro vientos,
Sambia por los cuatro costao.
nsala malekun and malekun nsala is answered and the Chamalongo is thrown on
the board.

SPECIFIC QUESTIONS

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part down, and the black color means when it is face down.

This means Yes to the question being asked.

This means a Yes to the question with a single word from the dead
man.
This is like the oracle of the biawe (the coconut) it means that the
shot is repeated and whatever comes out next is the confirmation if
it comes out the same it is a resounding Yes.
This means a resounding Yes where the same question should no
longer be asked, it is firmness.
This means that No to what is asked can be recorded the roads
with Lucero may be closed.
This is a No to the question means that something is missing in
what is being asked.
Also, a No to the question, the person may be being worked on by a
witchdoctor or some people present (must investigate).

This is a resounding No, when this letter comes out you should
spray the Chamalongo with Chamba and tobacco smoke and then
cool it in tap water, it means that it can bring bad results what is
being asked. A deep search is advised if this letter is repeated.

First possible roll.

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color means when it is face down.
All face up in a circle, this means that the
person who is registering is a clear and clean
person, but for being that way is what is
happening to him/her; he/she should not always
be sincere with those who do not deserve it.
This person has a clean path and a very high
spiritual level besides being intelligent.

This person has to dress in white for 8 days so that the currents change and the
luck that he is waiting for arrives, the one who gets this letter may be about to
receive an inheritance or some economic or labor improvement. This person has
much to do with the earth trembles.

He cannot wear anyone's hats or eat animal heads because this would delay him
a lot, the situation he may be going through, he may be a little incredulous or he
only remembers God when it thunders.

He should dedicate himself a little more to his religious path, he cannot allow
himself to be called names or put them either, do not cross hollows and if he does
he should put 21 cents or grain corn, he will be very lucky when he complies with
his guardian angel, it is advisable to register with the snail of saint to reaffirm the
paths he has in the Osha.

In addition to all this you can argue everything that the dead person puts to you in
relation to the consultation.
Second possible roll

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color means when it is face down.

All face up in line: This means that the person

who registers is about to achieve what he is
looking for, since his path is well forged, there
are only obstacles in his way that do not let
him get there, but with the help of the dead
everything will be fine. The lost faith is
recovered by a test that will be received very
soon.

On the other hand, he should pay more attention to his spirits so that things go
well, the success of his life is in the dead. That is to say that he should ask the
dead for everything and count on him for everything since he will never betray
him. It is recommended that you go to the foot of the Saint and that this one
determines if you have to arrive to ifa or on the contrary to go directly to the foot
of ifa.

The problems that have been troubling the life of this person for a long time can
be solved.
This person should have a palo shelter for the moment but Orula has to determine
if he has or does not have a palo path, which is to say if his path is the palo.

In addition to all this he can argue everything that the dead person puts to him in
relation to the consultation.
Third possible roll.

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color means when it is face down.

One face down in a circle: Everything that falls

in this position whether in a circle, line or
however it falls, is speaking a specific dead
person to the person being consulted.
Or if the tata is consulting himself he already
knows that he is speaking to a specific dead
person.

This person has a lot to do with his cosmic energy, he can ask his favorable
wishes to the stars since he has a lot of relation with the astral. As a safeguard
for behind your door you are advised to put 21 red and black garabaticos with a
prepared charge above Lucero.

With a determined attention to the dead person who is speaking, the ways are
opened and the existing situation will have the right solution (you ask the dead
person what he wants to solve the situation).

In addition to all this argue everything that the dead person puts in relation to the
consultation.
Fourth possible roll.

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color means when it is face down.

One face down in line: Here the dead person is

giving confidence and security of the situation
that the person being consulted is going
through. That is to say, it is affirming that what
is happening is certain to happen or that it has
already happened. This person is a good
spiritual half-unit.

For which the attention of the dead is fundamental as much as the development
in masses and temple of spiritual attention.
That is to say, this person should concentrate more on the spiritual field, he may
have tendencies to the palo but should be investigated with Lucero.
If he is a palero or is spiritually fixed, it is necessary to investigate why a dead
person is claiming something, such as a cauldron, a cane, or some other element.

If it is palero and it is enguello it has to be passed to Tata. If it is neither of the

two, a spiritual coronation must be done to make way for the spirits of his cuadro
to choose a place and determine which path he will choose.

In addition to this everything that the Nfumbe puts you at the time of the
consultation.
Fifth possible roll.

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color means when it is face down.

Two face down in a circle: This indicates that

the person being consulted is a person who at
this time of the consultation is surrounded by
insecurities, either by himself or by people who
transmit this positive energy. This person is in
the air.

In this case you have to do a cleaning with fula to remove many negative things
that surround you.
A cleaning should be done in your house to discard negative energies that are in
the environment.
She should be given a stick to always carry it and to reject all these things that
surround her.

It can also reach the consecration in palo but the person should not be pressured
to do it, since it is not an obligation in this letter to do it. This person owes
something to a dead person or a saint which he must pay because he owes and
pays is frank.
In addition to all this what the Nfumbe puts him at the time of the consultation.

Sixth possible roll.

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color means when it is face down.

Two Facing down in line: This letter like the

previous one speaks of an insecure person who
never finishes completing things. Be careful
with this when it is inline, the person who is
consulted must pay for everything that is done,
that is to say, you must pay him/her until the
last penny before doing the job.

For it to have an effect. Since here it speaks of bad gratitude, the same to thank
that to be grateful.
This person should not tell lies because these become truths and the opposite
truths become lies, be careful with that.
In question of papers must be very clear because they can be harmed by a
signature.

In addition to all this say everything that nfumbe put in the consultation.

Seventh possible roll.

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color when it is face down.

Three face down in circle: This letter is one of

the strongest in the Chamalongo. Here the
person has way to the stick that is to say of
rayamiento, since it is a person of very good
entities congas, that take him to that branch
this person sees dead.
And he has a lot of success in what he imagines for other people, he is a very
difficult person to entangle since his capacity to realize when he is being lied to
is very sensitive.
He has to give a lot of attention to the dead since this one gives him everything in
life. He has to develop spiritually for a much deeper advancement in his religious
life.
In the short or long run he has to get to the palo and then to the Osha because
this person is a head.

He should not wear anyone's hat or lend his own, nor dry his feet with the same
towel as his head.
Not to eat animal heads or kill crabs as this makes him backward.

In addition to all this what Nfumbe puts him in the consultation.

Eighth possible roll

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color means when it is face down.
Three face down in line: In this case, as in the
previous one, the person has many paths that
lead him to the stick and to the spiritual dead.
But with the difference that this is an
incredulous person, or a person who does not
give a damn about anything. This person is so
self-sufficient that he is not able to admit what
he is.

He can become aggressive when he is judged for something he does wrong.

He believes that he deserves everything and feels superior to others, if his
inclinations are for religion we are in the presence of the perfectionist of the
rules, that is to say that he likes everything to be done with the smallest detail
and he usually becomes a very good Palero, Santero or other branch that he
practices.
If his inclinations are not for religion, it will be very difficult to convince him that
the path he should follow is the religious one.

It will be very difficult for him to get involved in witchcraft work because his
protections are very strong. But this does not detract from the fact that if he has
some work set up that is hurting him.

"In addition to all this, whatever the nfumbe puts him in the consultation".
Ninth possible roll

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color means when it is face down.

Four face down in circle: The person who is

registering is presenting problems of a love
nature, where his partner is betraying him or he
is betraying, this should be deduced by your
nfumbe that you should put the final touch with
your dead.

Here there are also certain influences to be working or have a dark dead in your
home or well mounted on the person who has disturbed you. You have to check
the paths with Lucero.
But you can go ahead to clean with fula and nbele if the witch is very advanced
most likely you have to scratch the person, but it will not be a bad job in itself; if
not rather here what speaks is a problem with sayas that is to say with women or
the opposite depending on the sex of the person you are looking at.

If the person is in divorce proceedings try to advance as much as possible with

this.

"In addition to this what the nfumbe will put at the time of the consultation".
Tenth possible roll

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color means when it is face down.

Four face up in line: Here the person is going

through a very strong sentimental depression,
either for a lost partner or for a beloved
relative, it may be the case that the person
who is consulted is afflicted.

If so, investigate well because there is a spirit that is afflicted that is causing this
reaction, it is advisable to review well the paths of Nganga or entity that is
consulting. Work on the head of this person to give him/her back the peace and
tranquility he/she needs.

If you are a Santero, pray the head with the plant seso vegetal and dry coconut, if
you are not and you think you should take the person to the Santero, do it. This
person can be whiny and spoiled in some cases.

"In addition to all this whatever the nfumbe puts him in the consultation.
Eleventh possible roll.

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color when it is face down.

Five face up in a circle: This letter speaks of

people who are presenting very strong family
problems where they do not give the merit they
deserve. Here the person is in a dead end
because he/she feels that he/she cannot take
back what he/she gives to his/her family or
close people.

They feel a moral obligation to other people when they are really being exploited.
This person has her head spinning so she does not pay much attention to what
she is doing. She should be careful not to stand in four corners for pleasure, be
careful of the candle because she can get burned if she does not pay attention.
It is advisable here to clean at the foot of Nganga and give strong herbal baths to
refresh the spirit.

Here Mama Chola is speaking directly so you should ask if what you do will be
above mama chola.

"In addition to that everything that the Nfumbe will put in the consultation.
Twelfth possible roll

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color means when it is face down.

Five face down in line: In this letter the person

is or may be in trouble with the law, which is to
say, is involved in some problem either in court
or with the police. Therefore, you should pay
close attention to who you do business with, it
is not advisable to do business with more than
three people..

Be very careful with the things you sign papers, contracts and the like. If
someone gives you a package or something like that, be careful before, if it is not
something that can compromise you.
In this letter it is necessary to do a work by sarabanda to remove the letter of
justice. It is advisable to work directly with Lucero, Sarabanda, Cabo Ronda.
A bilongo can be, with a pair of handcuffs of police they are put in the open
hands, the hands are put on top of Nganga and cascarilla, Chamba, smoke of
tobacco and two roosters Cantonese are sacrificed on top, then honey of bee and
natural water is poured to him; later the handcuffs are taken off and they are
thrown on top of the garment and it is said "As I free of the justice that is freed
forever and that corporal round does not surround him".
Afterwards, the garment will be asked what to do with that work and the
handcuffs.

"In addition to this he can say whatever the Nfumbe puts to him in the
consultation"..

Thirteenth possible roll.

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color when it is face down.

Six face down in a circle: Here the person is

going through many economic problems which
have affected him/her and he/she keeps
thinking about how to solve them without
finding a solution. She has nightmares that do
not leave her alone, she wakes up scared and
does not sleep well.

The delay is due to an unfulfilled promise or a spiritual entity that has been
asking for something for a long time and has not fulfilled it.
You should work with this person more deeply since the dead will give you the
solution you are looking for. This person has a path to the conga land, so you
should investigate his or her paths with Lucero, since the scratching can be the
definitive solution to his or her problems.

"In addition to all this what the nfumbe puts him in the consultation.

Fourteenth possible roll.

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color when it is face down.

Six face down in line: Here the person is

locking the stick or other religious
manifestation, the case is that they are
working on their head, whether it is a mooring
or other type of work, at this time they have
many obstacles in their way.
That they do not let her follow the course of her path, but mainly here it refers to
works of witchcraft on this person.
For which it will have to take care of itself of accidents of all type. It is advised to
make a cleaning with fula and nvele so that the garment collects the negative
charges but this will not be what puts an end to what it brings.

It will be necessary to investigate more deeply with the dead person so that this
one marks some work to break the brujo that he/she has.

"In addition to all this, what the nfumbe puts in the consultation".

Fifteenth possible spread

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color means when it is face down.
All face down in a circle: Here in this letter you
have to take the chamalongos first of all and
dip them in Florida water or other type of
refreshment since it is very charged in relation
to the person you are looking at. This person
brings a lot of problems since he/she is closed
everywhere.

You have to be careful how you talk to the person because his mind is so
distracted that he does not understand very well what you are saying, so you
have to ask him if he understands what you are saying.
Here there is a dark dead person in the person's house that is affecting everyone
who lives there and wants to take someone away.
So you must work in the person's house before doing anything above the person
you are looking at.

It is very important that all the people who live there must be present and also
clean themselves with what the nfumbe indicates. Here it speaks as it is logical
of strong witchcraft above this family for revenge or something like that.

"In addition to all this, whatever the nfumbe puts in the consultation".

Sixteenth possible roll

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is, with the hollow
part upwards, and the black color means when it is face down.

All face down in line: Here the person is

presenting very strong health problems and if
he/she does not know it, he/she should be
taken to a doctor for a checkup as soon as
possible. Here it speaks of tumors or malignant
diseases, where if not acted upon in time can
be fatal.

Witchcraft has been working on this person for a long time.

It is advisable to at least scratch the person with a nguello to be able to stop the
evil so that it does not continue to walk. Attention anyway it is necessary to work
the person by the stick because it may not come out what he has in the doctor,
this person has been put many traps in his life, they envy him because they want
everything he has even if it is not valuable.
There are also curses in between here from other people who have cursed her so
that she will not be happy.

"In addition to all this, whatever the nfumbe puts on her in the office."
Seventeenth possible roll.

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color when it is face down.

All upside down mounted on more than two:

Here it speaks of sudden death either by
accident or other situation. Here the earth is
fed and a change of life is made before
consecrating the person as the solution is to
scratch the person and as quickly as possible.

It is possible to argue something more if the nfumbe deems it necessary, but

keep in mind that it is necessary to consecrate as quickly as possible.
Eighteenth possible roll.

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color when it is face down.

All face up mounted: Quite simple, this person

does not need any consecration or religious
life, he/she will only be cleansed and will be
given a slip that he/she will have to take care
of very well. Since it comes with its own very
strong protection.

If this is repeated more than twice in a consultation, you must give the person the
money.

Note: If the person wishes to consecrate themselves of their own free will, they
should do so, but should not be pressured to do so.
Nineteenth possible spread

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is, with the hollow
part upwards, and the black color means when it is face down.

All face down in cross: The cross has to be as

exact as possible here the person has to
scratch himself in the shortest possible time
since he had to do it for a long time and his
time has come.

There are no recommendations here as this letter is invariable.

Twentieth possible roll

The red color means when the Chamalongo is face up, that is to say, with the
hollow part upwards, and the black color when it is face down.

All face up in cross: In this spread the cross

has to be as exact as possible, otherwise it
would be in a circle. Here it is quite simple, this
person is marked to be consecrated in all the
Afro-Cuban rules. It is advisable to take at the
foot of the Orula.

Ask Lucero directly what to do with this person, i.e., asking for potions until you
get one to start with.

Chamalongo Construction

In a mat you make a cedar frame approximately 20 inches wide by 20 inches long,
although you can make it any size you want. Then with a paint that lasts either
white or red, you paint the signature to throw on the Chamalongo.

The chamalongo should be made of coconut. The ritualization of the Chamalongo

is done in a direct pact with your nganga’s or your congo entities, what cannot be
missing is that the Chamalongo must eat at the foot of your penda and give
knowledge to your pendas what is done and why it is done.
The Chamalongo consists of 7 coconut shells as explained above, of those 7 you
will choose one for each penda or dead or one for two or three entities, depending
on the number of entities you have.
You must mark the shell according to the entity so that when you throw it you
know who is talking and of course before you have already agreed with the
muerto which will its set. When the shell falls face down is when the dead person
is talking to you through that shell, when it is face up you are only marking the
letter.

It would look like this.
