1.0 COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course provides students with the ability to:


 Understand the relation between the micro and macroeconomics are influencing the
land economics decision. The rent gradient difference will affect the land rent and land
values.
 Carry out the principles of urban development and redevelopment.
 Distinguish the roles, policies and models in regional economics with an application to
Malaysia context.

2.0 COURSE OUTCOMES

At the end of the course, students should be able to:

CLO 1 Explain the land economic concepts in real estate markets. (PLO1, C2)
CLO 2 Demonstrates the problem solving approach in resolving welfare economics
issues in real estate market. (PLO3, A3).
CLO 3 Perform an active team participation in producing land economics written report
related to real estate markets. (PLO5, A2)
