About me

Hello! My name is Moraru Alin and I am a web developer based in

Valcea, Romania. I’ve been honing my skills in developing, production
and management roles building products for the web, mobile and,
more recently, Javascript.

I strive to create elegant solutions that surprise and delight users,

while keeping complex technical dependencies in mind for
implementation, scalability and developer sanity.

Some of the biggest online brands, such as Facebook, ProProfs, Digg,

Friendster, Flickr, Technorati, and Yahoo! are powered by PHP. 75%
of Web 2.0 sites are built in PHP. PHP is used by 81.7% of all the
websites whose server-side programming language we know.
Skills

Create, test and deploy new, innovative website applications in a

timely and e몭cient manner, while concurrently working with
other developers to meet data acquisition requirements
Identify and 몭x compatibility issues involving CSS, HTML, and
scripting, often between a series of di몭erent platforms and
browsers.
Test websites on all sorts of browsers (mobile, notebook, tablet),
and address issues identi몭ed by customer feedback.
Research and explore various architectural considerations
relating to the system design process, including web usability,
the website’s performance, and database design. Explore and
assess di몭erent alternatives for implementing new application
features.
Communicate with and work alongside other development
teams and company management to solve con몭icts, establish
priorities, select the best solutions, or develop criteria for new
content.
Develop plans for keeping the website updated and current at all
times, recommend improvements for performance, create and
몭ne-tune style guidelines for the website’s content, and choose
the most e몭ective design tools, programming languages, and
applications.
Provide detailed descriptions of website speci몭cations such as
product features, budget, programming languages,
communication protocols, functionalities, structure, and
deadlines.
Keep up with the latest programming practices and web
technologies via reading, continuing education opportunities,
and participating in relevant professional workshops, groups,
 and conferences.

Resume

As a PHP developer, I am responsible for writing server-side web

application logic. I usually develop back-end components, connect
the application with the other (often third-party) web services, and
support other front-end developers by integrating their work with
the application. I am also asked to develop and integrate plugins for
certain popular frameworks.
Projects Portfolio

I work with clients of di몭erent sizes across a wide range of sectors,

on extended/ongoing projects and one-o몭 pieces of work. I also work
with agencies who are looking to boost their development resource
or want to bring a fresh pair of eyes to bear on a problem.
