London, July 12, Italy wins Euro 2020, bears England in penalty shootout.
Italian soccer's redemption story is complete. England's painful half century
wait for major title goes on.
Leonardo Bonucci, Italian defender's mocks the famous lyric from the England
team's anthem ( " It's coming home") saying " It's coming to Rome" as Italy is
winning Euro 2020.
Gianluigi Donnarumma, Italy's goalkeeper saves the decisive spot kick of
Londoner Bukayo Saka makes England absolute sad. Marcus Rashford and
Jadon Sancho first missed the shootouts and ultimately Saka missed the
shootout losing the match against Italy. Saka and Sancho cried when they
missed the shootouts kick by Saka, this made the Italian fans overjoyed for a
rebirth of their national team, as the team was failed to be qualified in World
Cup four years back for the first time in six decades. Roberto Mancini, Italian

(Euro Cup 2020) Mancini praised the team.
For England, it is the latest heartache of defeat since 1990. Harry Kane, the
captain of England, feels sad on defeat on penalties. In the beginning, England
played well, Luke Shaw scored the first goal within few minutes with the help
of Kieran Trippier. This goal made the fans from the side of England along
with David Beckham and Tom Cruise overjoyed but after England barely saw
the ball for the rest of the game. England hardly possessed the ball only
chasing its opponent. At the last of extra time, Bonucci scored a goal. On
penalty shootouts, Marcus Rashford missed the ball, Jadon Sancho's shoot was
saved by Donnarumma, and so Jorginho got a chance to win the cup for Italy.
Donnarumma made the crucial saves and he became the player of the
tournament. Bonucci heard people predicting England to be the winner but he
feels sorry for them.
