My Grandmas House

Walking into my grandma's house

Taking a step inside
Untying my shoes and placing them in the closet beside the door.
The smell of warm gravy, pie, and deserts lingers around the house filling my nostrils as I stroll up the
smooth wooden steps.
Cousins screaming, TV blasting, and my grandpa's laptop louder than a howling wolf.

After eExchanging greetings with my grandparents and cousins,

I fell on the large, brown, puffy leather couch.
I glance at the eighty-inch T.V. to see Spongebob screeching louder than my cousins.

As my grandma rangrung the bell, I knew that it was time for dinner.
I slid across the light brown, slippery, wooden floors to the dinner table.
I plopped on the big comfy dining chair. beside my mom and grandpa.

My mom pulled the tinfoil off of the food that was on the table.
Steam exploded off the hot food one by one as she grabbed each piece of tin foil.

After supper, my cousins and I went downstairs.

Almost slipping on each step taken, I managed to jump down on the gentle beige carpet on the floor
We played for a bit, I then heard my mom's car keys crackling so I knew it was time to go.

I walked back up the stairs, opened the closet, grabbed my shoes and threw them on my feet.
It was then time to leave my grandma's house.
