TANMOY DAS I am a Civil Engineer with more than 13 years of extensive professional experience
in the field of Highway Engineering. After completion of my Graduation in 2009,
I have joined my first organization (2009 – 2011) as Graduate Engineer Trainee
and left the organization as Design Engineer. My first experience was to prepare
BOQ of various components of Roads, assist to prepare various design reports.
During my 2nd work experience (2011 – 2012) I was involved in Road Project
where I had to assist my superiors in designing of Highway using MX Road
Software and designing of Pavement. I was also involved in providing assistance
in preparation of Design Reports.
During my 3rd Work experience (2012 – 2018), I was started to visualize more
about the work that I had done previously when I was involved in filed
investigation of Highways. Investigation includes Road Inventory survey,
Pavement Roughness survey and analysis, root cause analysis of pavement failure
and remedial measures. The scope of work also includes Design of Highways,
Design of Pavement, optional study of alternate route, preparation of BOQ, Life
Cycle cost analysis of Pavement
Between the period of 2018 and 2019, my scope of work was as same as my
previous organization.
During my work in current organization (2019 – Present), I am involved in design
and analysis of highway and pavement with some additional responsibility of
Team Management. In the present tenure I am involved in various responsibilities
related to highway design, review of drawings, analysis of the behavior of
pavement materials, investigation of root cause of failure of pavement, providing
best suited pavement design proposal. With this technical work I am also involved
