While the person participating on the activities
experience different emotions and also different psychological effect. Research conducted by Brain Moore et al. (2019) show most active participants of combat sports have reduced symptoms associated with anxiety and depression; and also promotes characteristics associated with wellbeing. While this might not be same or directly affect the viewers it allows smooth viewing and love for the sport as the fighters hold themselves with great dignity and carry themselves as professionals. RESEARCH GAP
While there is a growing body of literature or study
examining the psychological effects of combat sports on participants, there is a notable dearth of research focused on understanding the psychological impact of combat sports on viewers. This research gap highlights the need for a more in depth study into the emotional and cognitive responses, as well as, potential long term psychological consequences, the spectators may experience when engaging with combat sports (boxing, MMA, wrestling, etc.)

sports psychology, media and social studies which may contribute to a better understanding of the impact of combat sports in contemporary society. SHARDA UNIVERSITY
