External students at Etzion Jerusalem, Etzion Haifa, Kiryat Yam– one‐time payment for social and cultural program –
NIS 750. External students at Beit Brodetzky as of November 2019 – one‐time payment for social and cultural
program – NIS 750.
External students at Etzion Ramla – free of charge
Kibbutz Ulpans at Maagan Michael and Tzuba accept couples only with special request and advance coordination.
Kibbutz ulpan – In two payments, where the second payment is dated not later than the 10th of the second month of
the program. No refunds are given to someone who leaves in the middle of the program.

Kinneret Tiberias – Only individual olim are accepted to the program.

Etzion Carmel Haifa – Individuals are housed in the Port Campus, married couples attending Etzion Carmel Haifa
reside at 17 Nathanson Street in Haifa.

Etzion Carmel Haifa – Those from the CIS who have completed the MASA program are accepted as external students.
If needed, assistance is provided in finding rental housing near the ulpan location.

TAKA Ashkelon – Expenses are covered up to NIS 150 per apartment, above this students must pay themselves. Two
people per room. As of now there is a grant of NIS 1,000 per month for the TAKA Ashkelon program, beginning after
the absorption basket benefits end. (You should check from time to time to see if this is still correct.)

Taka Jerusalem and Taka Tel Aviv: Accommodation grant of 550 Nis per month, for up to 5 months will be given once
the absorption basket is fully paid

the information. July‐August – Summer ulpan at the Herzliya Interdisciplinary Center without accommodation. Details available
from the Student Authority.

Information about registering for the TAKA program on the Ministry of Absorption website. Acceptance to the program is
conditional upon admission exams. Exam dates are published two months before the program begins, and exam dates for olim –
usually prior to the start of the program.

Kibbutz Ulpan ‐ Meals:

Yagur: 3 meals a day. 1) ** In the kibbutz dining room: all lunches up to monthly budget of NIS 450. Beyond that, at the expense of
the participant + Saturday meal (Friday evening). 2) In the Ulpan's dining room ***: Breakfast and dinner prepared and brought
by the kibbutz. Sometimes breakfast at work, depends on work.

Ma'agan Michael: Not kosher. 3 meals a day (with limited budget) in the dining room: every breakfast, lunch, dinner (except
Saturday dinner only)

Naan: kosher. 3 meals a day (free) in the dining room: All lunches + Saturday only Friday night. You also receive a monthly
budget for food, a magnetic card to use at the supermarket to buy products for breakfast and dinner

Sde Eliyahu: Kosher ‐ Religious. 3 meals a day (free) in the dining room: every breakfast + lunch. Dinner at the ulpan's club. no
limit.

Mishmar HaEmek: Not kosher. 3 meals a day (free) in the dining room: every breakfast, lunch, dinner (except dinner only on
Saturday evenings)

Tsuba : Kosher. 3 meals a day, a monthly budget, in the dining room: every breakfast, lunch, dinner (except Saturday dinner only)
