Gaining Attention Teacher will paste printed pictures on the board and ask the students to think of a word that can best describe it. Example is the picture of a sunset. It could be associated with the word “Calmness”. 2. Informing the Learner of At the end of the discussion, learners shall be able to: the Objective 1. Recognize the five imageries that can be used in literature 2. Identify sensory images used in the poem “The Voice of Spring” and; 3. Express appreciation for sensory images through using them in composing their own poem. 3. Stimulating Recall of Students will be asked what they have previously discussed last Prior Learning meeting which is all about Symbolism. Then they will be encourage to define it based on the discussion last meeting. 4. Presenting the Stimulus Teacher will introduce the 5 basic Human senses and how they are connected to the lesson. 5. Providing Learner Enumerate the five sensory images and provide examples of Guidance them. To further discuss, use them in composing a single line of words. 6. Eliciting Performance Teacher will then introduce the poem entitled “The Voice of Spring” and students will be tasked to identify the sensory images used in the poem and their type. 7. Giving Feedback Teacher will give compliments and feedback to the performance of the students. 8. Assessing Performance Assign a practice activity: Composed your own poem or any Literary piece and make use of the sensory Images. 9. Enhancing Retention and Give assignment to the students: Look for a literary piece and Transfer Identify the sensory images used therein.
