This document discusses subject design and integrated curriculum design. It provides examples of subject design in core academic subjects like math, science, Filipino, and English. For integrated curriculum design, it gives examples of interdisciplinary connections between science and health, and examples of multidisciplinary social studies integrating civics, geography, history, and economics. It also examines the benefits of these designs in providing practical learning, but notes a potential pitfall is that compartmentalized learning could overload students and be difficult to categorize.

1. Identify other subjects or disciplines that are examples of subject design
In the subject design examples these are the following subjects: Math, Science, Filipino and English all of these are the general knowledge of the subject and once we categorize the sub-topics of each subjects as we pertain to academic disciplines design we will focused into the subject’s disciplines of the general subjects. For example, the other subjects or disciplines of Science, we all know that Science has a different branch of studies like Physics, Chemistry, Earth Science and etc. this would be the time to consider as the other subjects or disciplines that is related to the subject design as for the reason that the curriculum refers to specific knowledge of specific content to study. 2. Identify other subjects or disciplines that are examples of the different types of integrated curriculum design. In integrated curriculum design it describes as one that connects different areas of study by cutting across subject-matter lines and emphasizing to unifying concepts. Meaning to say subjects are related to one another but each subjects maintains its identity. The examples in the interdisciplinary are the Science and Health these two subjects are different studies and learning but they have connections as we pertain to its disciplines there are instances that both subject needs its knowledge to understands its concepts, for multidisciplinary there are more contents to acquire, the examples in the book is the social studies curriculum and its disciplines are civics and culture, geography, history and economics different roles and lessons but they are aiming for one goal which is to learn about social studies and lastly, the core which connects to real life contexts as for the reason that the examples are interconnected which is the self to family and to community where the subject disciplines is take in about the core of the curriculum in the society. . 3. Examine the benefits and possible pitfalls of subject design and integrated design. The advantages and benefits of these designs are that they assist learners and educators in acquiring information and leanings in the most practical and realistic manner, and possible of allowing us to see this as an opportunity of getting a guide as we move into our dreams someday, and the possible pitfalls is that it will be a drawback for every students as for the reason that learning is compartmentalized meaning to say the acquired knowledge is to loaded which learners have to divide or categorize learning which stresses so much the content that it forgets by the students.
