1. How does geographical shift impact their language acquisition/learning process?
2. How does their adjustment period gave time to their transition in terms of:
a. Language, and
b. Culture
3. What consequences arise from the shift in language in their phase of adaptation?
4. What coping mechanisms emerge as they navigate the complexities of adapting
to the new phase of adjustment?

CASE STUDY QUESTIONNAIRES

- What are the noticeable shifts or changes in the participant’s language usage during
their transition from Luzon to Mindanao?
- How has the change of geographical location impacted their:
o Communication?
o Language Skills?
o Social Interaction?
- How did the participant integrate into the local, social, and cultural context in Davao
City?
- How did language policies, as observed, influence the participants’ language choices
and experiences?
- How fluent the participants are in:
o Filipino?
o Bisaya?
o English?
- How often do participants engage in code-switching?
- Are there any complications when they stick into speaking Bisaya language?
- How do they cope with the Bisaya language around them, knowing their Tagalog
Language origins?
- How has language played a role in forming and making relationships in the new
environment?
- What are the possible cultural implications that their language shift has affected due to
their migration?
