This paper serves to probe how the position of heating and cooling units within a naturally voiced domestic

structure affect the tailwind and temperature distribution withing the structure. The study is conducted to
assay how changing the positions and arrangement of the heating and cooling units will affect the
temperature distribution of the structure and which of these arrangement will achieve thermal comfort and
temperature uniformity within the structure for the benefit of the inhabitants of the structure. This disquisition
correspond of a literature review that outlines how to use Computational Fluid Dynamics( CFD) software
similar as Ansys Workbench/ Fluent to grease simulations in which the optimal placement of heating and
cooling units in a structure is determined. likewise, former studies conducted in this area will be reviewed,
including all the parameters needed for the modelling, the simulation models and boundary conditions used
before and the challenges and limitations that come with using CFD software to directly prognosticate the
tailwind distribution and thermal geste within a structure. According to the former studies, to delved and
prognosticate the tailwind pattern and temperature distribution, a 2- equation k- e turbulence CFD model
should be employed as it's the most suitable for inner tailwind.( Bay, etal., 2022). The exploration system will
involve the use of being data published through papers and handbooks. For this particular study the air inflow
will be modelled using some of the available turbulence model from Ansys Fluent because they're also
accurate for low air pets. The heat transfer medium for this study will be forced convection because the air
flows over a heating element( heater) that has a constant heat flux boundary condition. A detailed exploration
offer with the background and objects is included, in which it also entails the work that has formerly been
done related to this study and where the former studies left off and what they didn't cover as applicable to this
disquisition. The heat gain and heat loss from common features of domestic structures similar as lights,
ménage appliances will be represented by the heater which emits a constant heat flux for simplicity. The
mode of ventilation is natural because there are no fresh mechanical ventilations systems or unit similar as a
HVAC( air conditioner). Since heat transfer occurs via forced convection, the walls of the structure model
will be designated a heat transfer measure( H) in W/m2.K as their boundary conditions during the
simulations. This exploration objects have all been met and fulfilled, the trial was designed and assembled
and was conducted and the results have been captured and recorded. The simulations and everything
regarding simulations have also been conducted and the results have been captured and recorded. The
comparison of experimental and simulation results has been done and the study was validated using the
results. further simulations were conducted after the confirmation to probe further factors that impact and
affect the position of heating and cooling units in a structure and the findings from these simulations are
proved.
