Subject: Ban on transfers - instructions thereof.

Sir/ Madam,
I am directed to invite your attention to this Department's
letter of even number dated 21-10-2023 on the subject cited above vide which
it was conveyed that with effect from 01-11-2023 the ban on general
transfers of employees will again become operative.
2. It is reiterated that the Government has decided to impose a
complete ban on transfers' w.e.f. 21-11-2023. It is, ~herefore, requested that
only such proposal of transfers of government employees may" be processed
and implemented, which are strictly in consonance of circumstances
specifically provided under Para 8 of the Comprehensive Guiding Principles-
2013, circulated vide O.M. No. Per(AP.8)E(3)-17/20123 dated 10-07~2013 and ·
with the approval of Hon'ble Chief Minister.
3. These instructions may be brought ·to the notice of all
concerned for strict compliance.
