You are a safety professional in a small organization. While interacting with one of the Manager from
your organization, you are asked to develop a safety training program.
Considering the information below, conduct a safety training need analysis and fill up the table
provided.
Duration: 30 minutes
With reference to the aim (goal) of a session given below, write a set of learning objectives and
identify assessment methods. Start each objective with an appropriate verb. Present your answers.

There are a large number of teaching and learning approaches and all have their uses. The most
effective approaches are those that encourage active learning
Working in group research the approaches you have been allocated and present your findings to the
rest of the group.
During the session you should also try out various methods of presentation including:

Part 1
Submit a session plan for a 10 to 15 minutes microteaching session for any topic of your choice.
It must include:
• An indication of how the session relates to a full teaching program.
• A brief description of the target group
• The learning objectives
• A selection of teaching and learning methods and resources to engage and motivate learners
• An appropriate method of formative and summative assessment
