STEPS FOR DOWNLOADING CLIPS FROM HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL

WEBCAST

To download / save a UN Webcast clip you will need the latest Free Real Player
installed on your computer. Downloading and saving Webcast clips is not possible
using earlier versions of Real Player and Real Player 11 only runs on Windows XP
or later.

1. Download and Install Real Player 11 or higher for free from

http://www.real.com/player

2. After installing the software find the webcast clip you want to save
(www.un.org/webcast/unhrc/archive.asp). Click on the link Real Player will
then start playing the clip you selected.

3. When the video starts a "Download This Video" button pops up at the top right
hand corner of the video. Just click on the button to start downloading clips.
You can also go to the 'File' menu and select 'Record' – this will also begin
saving the clip you are viewing.

4. Videos are stored in the Downloads & Recording section of your Real Player
library. By default this location is: “C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR
USERNAME\My Documents\My Videos\RealPlayer Downloads”.

5. Once saved the clip can then be burned with any CD/DVD burning software.
This includes the ones already included with Windows XP and Vista.
