‫أظﮭﺮت ﻧﺘﺎﺋﺞ اﻟﺘﺤﻠﯿﻞ أن ﻣﺘﻐﯿﺮ اﻟﻨﺎﺗﺞ اﻟﻤﺤﻠﻲ اﻹﺟﻤﺎﻟﻲ وﻣﺘﻐﯿﺮ اﻟﻤﺴﺎﻓﺔ واﻟﺘﺎرﯾﺦ اﻻﺳﺘﻌﻤﺎري ﻟﮭﺎ ﺗﺄﺛﯿﺮ‬

Abstract:

The foreign trade has a significant impact on the economies of the States, most of
development theories confirmed this role, and due to its growing importance, many
economic models appeared to describe the flows of foreign trade, and know the
factors that affect them .The main modeling framework used in this thesis is gravity
model.

The empirical study analyze the role of main determinants of Algerian foreign trade
flows in details, including cultural similarities, geographical factors and trade costs.
Our findings are summarized as follows. First, gross domestic product (GDP),
distance and history factors play a key role in trade relationships On the other
hand, The core gravity factors and the cultural similarities aren’t the major
determinants of Algerian’s bilateral trade.

The other object of this thesis is to assess the impact of the Maghreb regional
integration on the direction of bilateral trade of Algeria. We find that, this agreement
has not any impact on the structure of Algerian trade.
