    Buko Pie

    Ingredients: Filling:

    1 ½ cup all-purpose flour 1 tbsp. butter

    ½ tsp. salt 1/3 cup white sugar

    1 tsp. white sugar ¼ cup all-purpose flour

    ¼ cup lard 1/3 cup evap milk

    1/8 cup margarine 1 pc. Egg


    4-5 tbsp. cold water 1 tsp. vanilla

    1 cup buko meat

    Procedure:
    Make the crust first by mixing all ingredients by cutting-in method in
    order to mix the shortening to the rest of the ingredients. Knead the
    crust until smooth, then flat it and arrange in the pie plate, poke with
    fork and set aside. Cook the filling by combining all ingredients except
    butter and bring it to boil and stir until thick, and chill. Add the filling to
    the pie crust and cover it with crust and poke with fork. Apply egg wash
    and bake until golden brown. Yield: 2 pcs.

    and bake until golden brown. Yield: 2 pcs
