
Hit Dice: 1d8 per erudite level
Hit Points at 1st Level: 8 + your Constitution modifier
Hit Points at Higher Levels: 1d8 (or 5) + your
Constitution
modifier per erudite level after 1st

Armor: Light armor
Weapons: Simple weapons
Tools: Calligrapher's Supplies
Saving Throws: Constitution, Intelligence
Skills: Choose three from Arcana, Deception, History,
Investigation, Insight, Perception, and Persuasion.

You start with the following equipment, in addition to
the
equipment granted by your background:
any simple weapon
(a) a diplomat's pack or (b) a scholar's pack
leather armor
calligrapher's supplies

You can make an erudite quickly by following these
suggestions. First, make Intelligence your highest
ability
score. Your next highest score should be Constitution.
Second, choose the Sage background. Third, choose
the
Psybeam, Friends, Mage Hand, and Mind Sliver
cantrips,
along with the 1st level spells Catapult and Mind Meld.
