 Always start with a positive introduction (whereas in your Personal Statement you have
stated that you wanted to go for medical science but you could not because there was a
lack of opportunities. Instead start by saying that, man is oblivious to social dynamics and
being a social agent, I was intrigued by the fact that commerce has always dominated the
main discourse of society)

Structure of Personal Statement:

1. Introduction (Positive one as mentioned above) (max 100 words)

2. Body Paragraphs (State the facts relevant to your field of interests i.e. Finance, its role in
commerce and social development)( 150 words)
3. What benefit would you be able to give to the society after having completed your degree
(150 words)
4. Briefly corelate your future ambitions to what LUMS has to offer and how can you
change your existing situation. (100 words)
5. Conclude the statement (max 100 words)

Note: Follow the above sequence strictly
