[QUESTIONS - CONTINUATION]

1. [10 points] Develop an S-curve (time; weeks vs. cost; PHP) for the baseline cost of Project CE
using the provided project details.

Notes/Assumptions:
• Assume six (6) working days per week
• Each percentage indicates the total expenditure by the end of each week.
• Assume no constraints are present and the expenditures will follow as per the earliest
possible schedule (or based on early start & finish).

2. [10 points each] Scenario. Project CE is now at the beginning of your 4th week and upon your
evaluation, the cumulative ACTUAL cost is at Php 2,660,000.00 Given that your Schedule
Performance Index (SPI) = 1.18. Answer the following questions:
2.1. What is the earned value cost of the project right now?
2.2. If the COST variance experienced so far in the project will continue, how much more
money will it take to complete the project?
2.3. If the variance experienced so far were to stop, what is the project’s estimate at
completion?
2.4. The senior management wants to know the percentage of the project that is
complete. What should you report? (Answer the following questions)
i. How is Project CE performing? (In terms of Cost & Schedule Variance)
ii. Prepare an EVA graph (time; weeks vs. cost; PHP) – Planned, Actual & Earned
Value/Cost – with the assumption that the delay is only incurred by the end of the
2nd week.
