Q3: WHAT ARE THE DOMESTIC
RESPONSIBILITES SHARED AT HOME?
IF ANY, ARE THE ROLES JOINT OR
SEGREGATED CONJUGAL ROLES??

The domestic responsibilities shared at

home are cooking, cleaning, ironing, electric
work, etc. The roles in my family are
segregated conjugal roles as my mom does
the cooking and cleaning and my dad does
the electric work and I do most of the
ironing. Also the works which require lifting
heavy weight are given to me and my dad.
So that’s how the roles are segregated
conjugal roles in my family.

Q4: HOW ARE YOU TREATED AT
HOME IN TERMS ON TRADITIONAL
GENDER ROLES.
In terms of traditional gender roles at home I
am treated well. My parents allow me to do
things which are done in the modern society,
such as going out with my friends alone and
coming late at night, letting me choose my
profession for my future and they don’t
restrict me from anything except the things
which are illegal at my age

Q5: what do you think, difference does it

make to be a female/male member of the
family in your society?
In my opinion, I think it really doesn’t
have a difference in my family/society if
someone is a female/male as my mom
goes out and is an independent woman

same goes for my dad and if I had a
brother/sister I don’t think there would
be difference between my sister/brother.
