• According to this graph it is predict that also most of the
cases are seen during when women travelling in autos , bus
,cabs etc sometimes its become difficult to track that vehicle
owner and also it is impossible stop happening these rape
cases .

• The number of alleged sexual assaults committed by taxi or

private hire drivers has risen by 20% in three years

• There is no such model that have been developed to stop

PROBLEM STATEMENT
DESCRIPTION:
In today's society, the safety and security of women in public spaces
have become a growing concern. Incidents of harassment, assault, and
violence against women, including sexual assault and rape, continue to
occur with alarming frequency. Existing safety measures and emergency
response systems often fall short in providing timely assistance and
deterring potential perpetrators. Therefore, there is a pressing need for
an innovative solution that empowers women with real-time protection
and allows them to proactively respond to threatening situations.
PROPOSED SOLUTION:

We propose the development of a sensor-based

system for vehicles aimed at detecting and preventing
unwanted activities, particularly those involving
women's safety. This system will consist of advanced
sensors integrated into vehicles, capable of
monitoring the surrounding environment for signs of
potential danger or distress. When the sensors detect
unusual or threatening activity, they will trigger
immediate alerts and notifications to a dedicated
mobile application, enabling swift action and
assistance.
USE CASE DIAGRAM In this use case diagram:
User: The user interacts with the system
through a mobile app. They can activate and
deactivate the safety system, receive alerts,
and send alerts when they feel threatened.
Mobile App: The mobile app serves as the
user interface for the system. It receives alerts
from the sensors, allows the user to activate
or deactivate the system, and facilitates
communication with emergency services.
sensor: The sensors are responsible for
detecting unusual or threatening activities in
the vehicle's vicinity. When a threat is
detected, they send an alert to the mobile
app.
Emergency Services: This represents the
external services (e.g., law enforcement,
medical services) that can respond to alerts
generated by the system. They receive alerts,
respond to them, and provide assistance to
the user in case of emergency.
DATA FLOW DIAGRAM
Level 0 DFD (Context Diagram):
At the highest level, we have a simple context
diagram that shows the system as a single
entity interacting with external entities.

- External Entities:
- Vehicle Sensors: These are the sensors
installed in vehicles to detect potential threats.
- Mobile App:The application used by
passengers to receive alerts and communicate
with the system.
- Emergency Services:The authorities or
emergency services that may need to respond
to incidents.
- Process:
- Safety and Threat Monitoring System:This is
the central system that processes data from
vehicle sensors and communicates with the
mobile app and emergency services.
DATA FLOW DIAGRAM
Level 1 DFD:
Processes:
- Sensor Data Processing: This process receives data from vehicle sensors and
analyzes it for signs of threats or unusual activity.
- Alert Generation: When a threat is detected, this process generates alerts and
notifications.
- Mobile App Communication: This process manages communication between the
system and the mobile app, including sending alerts.
- Emergency Services Communication: This process facilitates communication
between the system and emergency services.
- Data Logging: This process logs all sensor data, alerts, and communication for
record-keeping and potential investigations.
Data Stores:
- Sensor Data Store: Stores historical sensor data for analysis.
- Alert Log: Records all alerts generated by the system.
- Communication Log:* Logs all communication between the system, mobile app,
and emergency services.
Data Flows:
- Sensor Data: Data from vehicle sensors flow into the "Sensor Data Processing"
process.
- Threat Alerts: Alerts flow from "Alert Generation" to the mobile app and
emergency services.
- Communication Data: Messages and alerts flow between the system, mobile app,
and emergency services.
- Logging Data: Data is logged into the appropriate data stores for future reference.
TECHNOLOGY USED
PROTOTYPE PROCESS:
1. Sensors Input : There may be different types of sensors we are using they will receive input.

2. Microcontroller or IoT Device

3. HTTP.GET() Request to IFTTT Server
4. IFTTT Applet Configuration
5. Action in IFTTT Applet
6. Chatbot Activation
7. Notification to Parent's and nearby police Phone
8. Response: The parent receives the notification and can then respond accordingly. They may choose to call the child or
individual, check the situation remotely (if possible), or any other appropriate action based on the information provided
by the chatbot.
9. Safety and Assistance.

KEY FEATURES AND GOALS:
- Real-time Monitoring: The system will continuously monitor the vehicle's vicinity,
including the interior and exterior, to detect any suspicious behaviour or situations.
- Immediate Alerts:When a potential threat is detected, the system will send instant
alerts to the driver, the passenger, and a designated emergency contact via a mobile
app.
- Audio and Video Recording: The system will record audio and video evidence of
incidents, preserving crucial information for law enforcement and authorities.
- GPS Tracking:The app will provide real-time location tracking to facilitate a rapid
response from law enforcement or emergency services.
- Two-way Communication: The app will enable two-way communication between the
user and emergency services, ensuring timely assistance.
- User Privacy: Ensuring user privacy and data security will be a top priority, with strict
adherence to data protection regulations.

STOPPERS
• Technological Challenges: Developing a reliable and accurate sensor system that can effectively detect
threatening situations while minimising false alarms is a significant technical challenge.
• Integration with Vehicles: Integrating these sensors seamlessly into various types of vehicles and
ensuring compatibility across different vehicle models may be complex and costly.
• User Adoption and Accessibility: Encouraging women to use this technology and ensuring it's
accessible to a wide range of users, including those from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, is essential
for its effectiveness.
• Response Time and Emergency Protocols: The success of the system relies on prompt response times
from both users and emergency services. Coordinating with law enforcement and emergency response
agencies will be critical.
• Public Awareness and Education: Raising awareness about the technology and educating users on how
to effectively utilize it will be crucial for its success.
• COST AND FUNDING: Developing and maintaining the technology, as well as making it affordable for
users, may require significant financial resources.
FAQ’S
● QUESTION -What if someone removes this sensor?
● ANS - If any taxi driver or vehicle driver detects this sensor then the taxi will not
start or a notification will be sent to the company owner or the company to
which the taxi is attached or mainly this means that the taxi will not start
● QUESTION - Real time location is possible, what have you guys thought about
it?
● ANS - We think that if the government supports us then we will run it with the
help of Indian satellite or try to make it possible to get the real time location at
least within 100 meter range of the taxi with the help of satellite.
● QUESTION - How this sensors get the power supply?
● ANS - They will get power source from the car battery.
● QUESTION - If the vehicle companies do not fit these sensors ?
● ANS - we have proposed that government should authorize this sensor and
make it mandatory that every taxi will have it and the new one will have to get it
installed and get a certificate.
