General Terms and Conditions:

1. Validation of Quotations: All quotations provided by Jess Technology for industrial automation repair services are valid for a period of
thirty (30) days from the date of the quotation unless otherwise stated. Jess Technology have the right to amend the quoted price after
the validity period.
2. Job scope of Quotation: Price quoted above is for repairing or trading of the unit only and do not include onsite charges, installation &
commissioning unless otherwise stated.
3. Acceptance of Order: Upon receiving Purchase Order or any written confirmation from customer, customer is deemed to have agreed
with the lead time, warranty, price, terms and conditions stated in the quotation and constitutes a binding agreement to proceed with the
repair services outlined.
4. Delivery: Delivery is as specified in the quotation and any delivery of the repair item shall be subject to stock availability and partial
delivery shall be allowed. The scheduled delivery date(s) is determined from the date of acceptance of Purchase Order or written
confirmation received from the customer. Any scheduled delivery dates are merely an estimate or approximate dates of delivery as
unforeseen circumstances, such as parts availability or additional repairs required, may result in delays. Jess Technology will make
reasonable efforts to inform customer of any delays and provide updates regarding the progress of the repairs but will not be liable for
any loss, damage, charges, costs, expenses, claims and/or penalty arising out of or in connection with any late delivery.
5. Cancellation Policy: There shall be no cancellation for confirmed order even if the actual delivery may exceed the expected delivery
time. In the event where customer requests for cancellation after acceptance, the customer shall be liable to pay the full amount to
cover any costs already incurred by Jess Technology in preparation for the repair services, including procurement of parts and allocation
of resources and Jess Technology will not provide the customer with the spare parts that was already purchased.
6. Warranty: Jess Technology generally provides a warranty period of three (3) months from the date of invoice unless otherwise stated.
This warranty covers the whole repair unit only for defects in workmanship or materials used during the repair. It does not cover damage
resulting from any disaster such as fire, explosion, power failure or surge, earthquake, flood, other extreme weather events, or any Acts
of Gods, or any other external factor such as abnormal voltage, improper conditions, improper environments, improper handling or
improper usage, improper storage, improper installation, improper maintenance, improper configuration and/or improper operation
contrary to the recommendations contained in the instruction manual or the user’s manual.
7. One-to-one warranty claim basis: Jess Technology will only facilitate on one-to-one warranty claim and will repair or replace the same
item as per the warranty term. Additional claims for items received alongside the claimed item will generally not be processed.
8. Return of defect item for warranty claim: Customer must notify Jess Technology in writing if the repaired item is not functioning and it
should be returned to Jess Technology within the warranty period in accordance with agreed warranty terms and claim procedures. Jess
Technology is not obliged to fulfil any claims for repair or replacement which already exceed the warranty period. In the event where
customer didn’t return the defect item for warranty claim within the warranty period, customer is obliged to pay Jess Technology the full
amount as stated in the invoice.
9. Repair Outcome: Jess Technology will make every effort to repair and restore the customer's automation equipment to full functionality.
However, the complexity of the equipment and potential unforeseen challenges may affect the success rate and Jess Technology will
not be held responsible for any damage that occurs after the repair is completed. Certain damages may be irreparable, and some
components may be irreplaceable due to factors such as complexity, unique programming, discontinued manufacturing, unavailability, or
proprietary nature. In the event that the equipment is beyond repair, Jess Technology will declare it as such and will not be held
accountable for any loss of profit, production and time.
10. Payment: Payment terms are as specified in the quotation which effective from the date of invoice.
11. Cash on Delivery (COD): COD Customer is required to make full payment upon confirmation to proceed with the repairing. Jess
Technology will not proceed with the repairing without the upfront payment.
12. Amendment of Payment Term: Jess Technology has the right to amend payment term, cancel any order or suspend further deliveries
to the customer whenever the payment history or financial status of the customer is deemed to warrant such actions.
13. Beyond Repair & Refund Process: In the event where the repair unit is declared as Beyond Repair by Jess Technology, Credit Note
will be issued by Jess Technology to customer for refund purpose at the end of the month.
14. Disposal of Faulty Components: All faulty components replaced during the repair process will be disposed of in accordance with Jess
Technology's Proper Disposal Policies and will not be returned to the customer as it is considered as hazardous waste.
15. Cost Efficiency Guarantee: It is the policy of Jess Technology to keep the repair cost below 50% of the replacement price of the
equipment.
16. Data Backup Responsibility: As a vital precautionary measure, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to back up and securely
store any critical data before submitting the equipment for repair. Jess Technology shall not be held liable for any data loss or corruption
that may occur during the repair process. We strongly advise customers to take appropriate measures to safeguard their valuable data
and ensure its availability throughout the repair period.
17. Information Accuracy: Jess Technology may need to communicate with the customer during the repair process to request additional
information or documentation, such as symptoms of the issue, wiring diagrams, operating manuals, or any other relevant details
pertaining to the equipment. Any discrepancies or inaccuracies in the information provided may result in delays.
18. Involvement in Insurance Claim Process: Jess Technology is not a representative of any insurance company and shall not involve in
any insurance claim process. A separate consultation fees will be charged if Jess Technology is required to attend any Insurance
adjuster at any of our premises.
19. Liability: The customer acknowledges that Jess Technology shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential
damages arising from the repair services provided, including but not limited to loss of production, loss of profits, or any other economic
loss.
20. Confidentiality: The customer acknowledges that Jess Technology may have access to confidential information during the course of
the repair services. Jess Technology agrees to maintain the confidentiality of such information and will not disclose to any third party
without the customer's prior written consent.
21. These terms and conditions, along with the quotation, constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Jess Technology
regarding the repair services. Any additional or conflicting terms proposed by the customer shall not be valid unless accepted in writing
by Jess Technology.
22. Repair Center Location : Jess Technology operates multiple repair center locations, each equipped with specialized analyzer, tools,
equipments, testers and personnel. Repairs will be performed at the repair center that possesses the most suitable equipment, tools,
and testing facilities for the specific unit in need of repair. The selection of the repair center location will be arranged by Jess Technology
to ensure the highest quality and efficiency of the repair process.
