Ad Analysis

Task:- Choose one of your favorite advertisements that you

saw on the smartboard and give a brief description of the
advertisement.

My favorite of the 2 advertisements we saw in class was the

Snickers advertisement. Snickers is a brand of chocolate bar
and in that particular brand they have made Snickers itself a
chocolate bar, it is one of children’s favorite chocolate bars.
When I saw this advertisement, My attention was captured for
the first time when I saw how the advertisement played with its
words which said “ You are you when you are hungry”. So this
advertisement persuades people to have Snickers right away so
that when they eat the chocolate, the taste that remains in their
mouth, will make them want for more, that’s what advertisements
are made for and it also looks so tasty, the main thing which
might have changed my mind in giving snickers a chance was
seeing how they have flipped the script cause in the ad they
were talking about the soldiers taking Mr. beans on for training
and then Mr. beans got a snickers bar. It was an amazing
advertisement, and as they show the outside rapper of the
Snickers bar it would make them want more of Snickers and also
would persuade the viewers to have Snickers as much as they
want. What a surprise! The advertisement has a lot of likes and a
lot of views which would have made Snickers bar more popular.
Snickers bar has now become one of my favorite bars just
because of nuts. The Snickers bar has a really good taste but
one thing that would have been much better about it was not
adding nuts.
