S1 is 10.236km including 9.953km
viaduct and 0.283km tunnel, which
is started from Shimenying station
to Pingguoyuan station. There are 8
stations and 1 car depot with
concentration supervisory control

In December 30, 2017, Beijing maglev

transportation line S1 was opened for trial
operation. As the only rail transit line
connected to the city in Mentougou area,
the operation of the Beijing line S1 will
greatly facilitate the travel of residents
along the Mentougou area and along the
line, effectively alleviating the traffic
pressure in the west part of Beijing.
