POSSESSIVE CASE ( ’S ) It’s Jack’s

book.

 We use ’s with a person to talk about family and possessions.

Examples:

 We use s’ with regular plural nouns.  We use ’s with irregular plural nouns.

 We use Whose . . . ? to ask about possessions.

 It’s Larry’s car.  It’s Larry’s .

 They’re Kate’s sunglasses.  They’re Kate’s .
4. Whose are those books ? 4. Whose books are those ?
 They’re Nick’s books.  They’re Nick’s .
