D-1 said it never got physical until “the big one.” D-I then started to say that he learned it was her because there were two wagons and that he was in one and that he asked who was in the other. D-1 then stopped and said that he saw the decedent lying on the floor and that he bent down and kissed her. D-1 indicated that he stated, “My God.” D-1 said that the kiss was warm, D-1 said that it was a beautiful kiss that he would never forget. D-1 recalled W-1 saying, “Dad. D-1 continued to explain the challenges with his rehab. D-1 recalled being told that he would be in a wheel chair the rest of his life, but the decedent got him up. Del then was redirected back to Sunday. D-1 said that when he walked toward the decedent that he had not injured himself yet. D-I said that he did not harm himself until he was downstairs. D-1 was said that the decedent walked down the stairs and he thinks that he followed her. D-1 said that the decedent may have run down the stairs because he did not see her go down, When D-1 went toward her upstairs, he said that she left to go talk to W-l on the phone. D-1 admitted that no one else was in the home. D-1 was asked if he remembered stabbing her and he replied, “ah. yes.” D-1 said she was standing by the doorway trying to get out and he pulled her back in. Del then said that he was trying to reconstruct it in his mind and he thinks she backed up against the stairs. D-1 thinks she tripped and fell towards the stairs. D-1 was then asked whether she had been stabbed prior to falling and he said no. D-1 was then asked at what point he had stabbed her. D-1 said that he didn’t know because he didn’t think that he stabbed her. D-1 recalled W-1 asking him what he did to mom and D-1 said he didn’t do anything but that there was blood all over everything. D-1 admitted that when W-1 arrived that the decedent was already on the ground. D-1 admitted that he was on his knees near her when W-1 had arrived and that he had kissed her. D-I said at that point he began to start stabbing himself in the stomach area describing it as he was Page 3 of 4 starting to try to get it in. De1 said at that point WI did not take the knife from him, ‘Then D-1 said that W-1 could have, but that he had another knife upstairs because he wanted to finish himself off. D-1 remembered that downstairs that he couldn’t get the knife into his body because it appeared to be hitting the bone in his left waist area, D1 said that he then tried to collapse on the knife downstairs, but then went upstairs, ‘Then the police arrived and stopped him even though he was set on killing himself, D-1 said that it was so unnecessary and that he never thought of hurting that person. D-1 said he was aggressive but not [indicernable}. D-1 said you don’t play football and not be aggressive. Del said he did not follow her immediately down the stairs. D-1 does remember something at the door and he believes he was on his knees when W-1 arrived. D-1 said that he did not not know how the other big knife got there, D-I said that he had saw this knife on the floor and he thinks that W-1 grabbed it later on, D-1 thought that what happened was that he let the knife go. W-1 thought that D-1 must have done it because he figured it out. D-1 thinks that the police thinks he did it hecause they figured it out too. ‘D-1 was asked if he was feeling better and whether he wanted to still harm himself and he said, “No.” ‘D-1 said that the knife on the floor downstairs must have come down the stairs. D-1 said he saw that knife when he was leaning over trying to stab himself and he looked down. At that point, the decedent was on the ground, Del said that he did not recall stabbing her and he still thinks it was a delusion. D-I then said something like that he concocted a story in his head during rehab that the nurses were going to kill him and his wife to get money to go back to their country of origin. D-1 recalls talking to a priest and saying that he hasn’t been a very good guy. D-1 said that he does not know whether this is a dream or not. D-1 appeared to have an abrasion on his right eye area.
