Each of the artifacts that are found on the page displays my knowledge of the Danielson Framework.

1b: Demonstrating Knowledge of Students – The Performance Task helps me to gain knowledge of
students. Not only through their interests but as well as taking note of their fine motor skills. I had also
included various accommodations and differentiated learning tactics to help meet each student to their
level of learning.

1f: Designing Student Assessments – I designed a KWL chart to understand where my learners were
at before the start of a unit. This allowed me to help focus on the parts of the unit that needed more
attention. It also allowed me to see their growth by the end of the unit.

1e: Designing Coherent Instruction – This is displayed through the lesson plan that is linked on the
webpage. This lesson plan covers each part of the lesson in detail. Having a strong lesson plan will help a
teacher to be prepared for the day or lesson.

2a: Creating an Environment of Respect and Rapport - Classroom management allows students to be
a part of a safe classroom environment. Students will build respect for the classroom and their peers
through learning about the classroom rules. Classroom rules are displayed through the Bitmoji Classroom
labeled “Bitmoji Classroom Management”.

3c: Engaging Students in Learning – The picture labeled “Science Lesson Picture” displays the
students being engaged in their learning. Looking at the picture, students are leaning in to see the lesson
that is happening.

3f: Demonstrating Flexibility and Responsiveness - The Bitmoji Classroom that I created contributes
to creating a safe and comfortable environment in which students feel welcomed. It also allows students
to gain different perspectives on varying topics and issues.
4a: Reflecting on Teaching is shown through my self-evaluation that I completed at the end of my
student teaching experience. I was able to reflect and compare from my first self-evaluation that was
completed at the start of my clinical experience. Doing self-evaluations helps to check in with where one
is excelling and where focus is needed.

4c: Communicating with Families – The artifact chosen to represent this domain is my letter to the
parents. This letter of introduction was sent out when I started my student-teaching experience. It
included who I am, where I went to school and why I decided on teaching. This is a simple yet effective
way to open a line of communication.
