Hi Everyone!

My name is Jacob Wild and I’m going to be a student teacher helping out Renee in the
elementary music classroom, observing, and eventually taking over the classroom for a time. I
am excited to be able to help teach and grow in that teaching!

I am a music major at NSU in my final semester. I am a singer and violinist with an emphasis on
the vocal side. Some fun facts about me are that I play pool and basketball. I am looking
forward to the semester and hope it will be fun, fulfilling, and educational

In my musical career, I have participated in auctioned and general choral ensembles and
orchestral ensembles. On the subject of orchestral ensembles, I have never personally been an
all-state chorus or orchestra member, but I have attended the SDMEA conference the last 2
years that takes place during a similar time frame in the same place and will attend this year as
well. I have taken three semesters of conducting classes. I am very excited to work with your
ensembles and help your program become better in whatever way I can help!
