GUIDANCE AND ADVICE:
And the LORD God said: “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him
an associated helper for him”. Then the Lord Jesus said: “For this cause shall a man
leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they two shall be one flesh: so
then they are no more two, but one flesh”. (Genesis 2:18; Maret 10:7-8).
Then the Lord Jesus said: “What therefore God has joined together, let not man put
asunder. And whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall
marry another, commits adultery: and whoso marries her which is put away does
commit adultery”. (Matthew 19:6,9)
Listen also to what God's Word said to the man: “Husbands, love your wives, even as
Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; hat he might sanctify”. (Ephesians
5:25,26a).
And to the woman, He said: “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto
the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the
church” (Ephesians 5:22,23a). Thus husbands should love their wives equally like
himself, he was obliged to nurture and care for him, like Jesus Christ nurturing and
caring for His church. And wives should be noble, chaste and holy souls true, patient
and meek, for thus they honor their husbands.
Let both of you always live in the Word of the Lord. Live in humility and simplicity of
heart, sustaining one another, complementing one another, and praying for one
another.
Avoid from your daily life bad qualities and behaviors, such as pride, anger, lies, harsh
words and all forms of violence. Let love, joy, peace, mutual respect and sincerity mark
your entire married life. Make love the binding of all that is good.
The peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds
through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7).
So according to the Word of God that you have heard, you have understand and
understand God's will regarding the marriage.
