Aim : To draw the diagram of a given open circuit comprising at
least a battery,resistor/rheostat, key, ammeter and voltmeter.
Mark the components that are not connected in proper order
and correct the circuit and also the circuit diagram.

Apparatus Required :
Components : Resistor, Ammeter, Voltmeter, Rheostat, One
way key, Battery.

Conclusion :
o Required diagrams of open circuit have been drawn.
o The components not connected in proper order have been
marked.
o The corrected circuit has been drawn.

Precautions :
1) Variable resistance must not be connected as a fixed
resistance.
2) Ammeter is connected in series with resistance.
3) Voltmeter is connected in parallel to resistance.
